24.01.2022 What's happening! Staff hope that everyone is staying safe, staying home, being socially responsible and keeping well. They appreciate the support they have received from our wonderful school community. The school environment, although light on student number, has still been a hive of activity, with staff working on producing lessons for online learning, so that there can be a degree of educational continuity for all students during their time at home. Letters outlining how... to access the online learning platform before Monday, were sent home today and families were phoned and asked to indicate if they would prefer a hard (paper) copy. These hard copies will also be available for collection on Monday. Workbooks for the remainder of this week are available at the office. Staff will be at school every day, so if you have questions regarding learning activities or any other inquiries, please do not hesitate to phone the school for assistance. Thank you again for your patience and dedication to student learning during this time. See more

Schools will remain open for those parents who work in our health system, education system, emergency services and other essential workers. Gunnedah Public School is following NSW Government and Department of Education recommendations and will remain open as outlined above. A NOTE WAS SENT HOME TODAY, outlining changes to procedures for those students who will be attending for the remainder of the week. Any further updates will be communicated as soon as possible after Mrs McMaster has been notified. Once again, we thank you, the members of our school community, for your support and patience at this time.
