18.01.2022 Love your Jazz? The Civic Theatre will come alive on Saturday with the sounds of world-class jazz - the Emma Pask Quartet is coming to town! Make sure you get your tickets soon, before they sell out!

17.01.2022 The Namoi River is flowing well, following the storms and rainfall over the weekend. These photos were taken by our journalist Marie Hobson this morning, just downstream from Cohens Bridge. We are starting to see light showers falling as the predicted trough deepens, with a low pressure expected to develop within the trough. Falls between 50 -100 mm are predicted across the district today. A flood watch is current for the Peel, Namoi, Gwydir & Upper Hunter Rivers. Certainly a different landscape to just 12 months ago! Be careful driving and always remember if it is flooded, forget it.

17.01.2022 We were contacted by Josh’s mother on the weekend, who was very proud to share the great achievements of Joshua. Congratulations from the Gunnedah Times team! We will be catching up with Joshua to find out more about his studies, achievements and plans for 2021. The Gunnedah Times would also like to shine a light on other Gunnedah and district students who have done well in the 2020 Higher School Certificate. Drop us a note to tell us your great news!...
