21.01.2022 Double trouble! A tree down on Collector Road East blocking the road and a property access. All sorted before the rain set in again.

20.01.2022 The current rain event impacting on NSW coastal areas is not expected to extend far inland and is unlikely to cause flooding in our area. Collector SES will be monitoring the situation and will provide alerts if that advice changes. Meanwhile, we are often asked for sand bags during flash floods and advice on how to fill and use them. 15.01.2022 It is looking like our area may get heavy rain this morning and around lunch time today. With the ground already saturated, if this eventuates we could see some flooding of low level areas. Collector SES suggest that landowners should prepare by moving stock and machinery from flood prone areas and that motorists should not attempt to drive through flood waters and inundated causways.
