24.01.2022 CONCERT FULLY BOOKED: Gunning Focus Group's Musica da Camera concert to be held Sunday afternoon 22 November is now fully booked. We are unlikely to have many [or even any] cancellations so if you are coming along hoping to buy walk in tickets please steel yourself for disappointment. You could be cheered up by joining Gunning's cafe society and browsing the many antiques, collectables, art and craft as a fall back. We are working on a concert program for 2021 so keep posted for further details.

10.01.2022 FULL HOUSE ENJOYS A CORKER OF A CONCERT. This is not just Focus Group Marketing Dept hype. Today's concert by Musica da Camera was an absolute delight. Pictured are [1] the box office team of Sonya Duus [treasurer], Mike Coley [president] and Jacquie Adams [bouncer] welcoming patrons to the Shire Hall venue; [2] a full house in the newly renovated and air-conditioned shire hall [well done Council], [3] violin soloist Fumiyo Yamamato and Musical Director Rosemary Macphail d...uring the playing of Vivaldi's "Winter" from "The Four Seasons" and [4] Fumiyo acknowledging the well merited applause of the audience and fellow players. What a wonderful and joyful way to end the musical year. We are very grateful to Musica da Camera for bringing us such a terrific concert. Fumiyo is a real talent. Those present today will likely be able to tell their grandchildren "I was there in the Gunning Shire Hall when Fumiyo Yamamoto made her interstate debut."
