22.01.2022 For those who missed it live on Channel 7 on Saturday night, here's the lovely tribute to Ronnie Wavehill Jangala & the Gurindji which aired at half-time of Dreamtime in Darwin. A huge thanks and love to AFL Essendon Football Club Richmond FC and Channel 7 . We think the Dreamtime match may have found its spiritual home and we hope it’s played up here in the NT every year
21.01.2022 Very powerful message from Mr Gunner, worth a watch
20.01.2022 We’re incredibly proud to share this short film! NGUMPIN KARTIYA - Untold Stories of the Gurindji and the Wave Hill Walk-off - is produced by Gurindji Aborigina...l Corporation in partnership with filmmaker Ben McFadyen from These Wild Eyes. It's a beautiful documentary, telling stories of The Killing Times, the Wave Hill Walk-off, Freedom Day and more. It looks at a proud and sometimes difficult past and it celebrates a bright and better future. We hope you enjoy it and can share it far and wide. #ngumpinkartiya

16.01.2022 It was great catching up with our old friends at the United Workers Union, and to see the iconic Bedford Truck that the late marluka Brian Manning delivered critical supplies to the Gurindji strikers in 1966. This is a replica truck (the original is now at the National Museum, Canberra)...we look forward to the Bedford leading the Freedom Day March again at the 55th anniversary next August

08.01.2022 At this very moment 54 years ago, August 23rd 1966, Vincent Lingiari and 200 men and women were walking-off Wave Hill Cattle Station. This stand against power, ...privilege and generational abuse of Aboriginal men, women and children will be remembered forever, as a moment that all Australians should reflect on, and celebrate together in unity - Ngumpin Kartiya Karru-la Jintaku-la See more
08.01.2022 Today, First Nations union members from around the country were in Canberra lobbying for a constitutionally enshrined First Nations Voice. We were joined by ou...r Gurindji brothers and sisters, who are proud Union members, all the way from Kalkaringi. We met with the ALP caucus, and made it clear that as Indigenous unionists, we understand the importance of a strong united voice to both use the truth as leverage, and to negotiate meaningful treaties. Lastly, we visited the Tent Embassy, where we learnt that it’s time to bring our voices in to the centre of decision making, where we have a rightful place to be heard.
