11.01.2022 One of the best ways to get results is to follow a progressive program! So, what is a progressive workout program? A progressive workout is when you incrementally increase the frequency or difficulty of your workout each week, to gradually build your fitness, strength or exercise performance! The best part is a progressive workout can be done wherever you are exercising, no matter what type of exercise you enjoy or no matter what your goal is!... Whether you're a cardio, weights or group fitness person here are some ways to progress your fitness and get to where you want to be: Cardio Add in new terrains try adding in some hills or slopes to your path each week to increase the intensity or difficulty of your regular cardio session. Strength Increase your sets or reps Try increasing the number of repetitions or sets in your current strength or weights routine. If you are currently doing two sets of 10 reps of bicep curls, you might like to try doing three sets the next week, then four sets the following week. Group Fitness Classes Participate in a longer class. You might like to switch to a 45-minute class instead of a 30-minute class throughout the week. Find out more tips to progress your fitness on our website blog today!
