22.01.2022 YARRABAH FEVER CLINIC NOTE: Fever clinic is still running. if you attend 8am-12noon with covid symptoms, you will be screened/swabbed by our staff. if after 12noon- ED will swab you Upon arrival you will be asked whether you have had any of the following symptoms in the previous 48 hours.... - FEVER - COUGH - SORE THROAT - SHORTNESS OF BREATH/SHORTWIND If you do you will be asked to be tested for the Coronavirus. Your reason for visiting the service will be noted and we will arrange for that reason to be addressed. Being swabbed will change how we let you access the clinic- you will need to wear a mask and might be seen outside, or over the phone. ISOLATION As of 5th August, you are required to isolate while waiting for test results. You must not go to work, school or shops etc. until you get a NEGATIVE result. while waiting for your results; practice good hygiene at home (cleaning and not sharing drinks/smokes etc) to limit making others sick with cold and flu as well as possibly COVID TEST RESULTS Currently the results of your test will take about 2-3 days to return. -until you receive a negative test result you will need to physically isolate yourself from the rest of your house. If you have the option, move to an isolated area of the house, inform the rest of your house that you are awaiting the result of the test and to not come near you. If you do not have this option, the entire house needs to isolate itself until such time as you receive a negative result notification. After 2 days- call us at the clinic for your results. Please make sure you have given us an updated phone number and address that we can contact you on. INFORMATION Please follow our pandemic advice: - WASH YOUR HANDS - STAY AT HOME - SOCIAL DISTANCING - CLEAN ALL HARD SURFACES REGULARLY - COUGH OR SNEEZE INTO YOUR ELBOW - DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE! During this pandemic there are some things we can deal with over the phone. If you want to come to the clinic for any reason, please call ahead and we will advise you of the best way for us to help you including phone consults with a nurse or doctor. #KEEPHEALTHY #PROTECTYOURMOB #WASHYOURHANDS

03.01.2022 Today, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported a record one-day increase of 307,930 in global COVID-19 cases - but in Queensland, we recorded 0 new cases. ...Not a single one of today's global cases came from our state. Queensland this is something you should be so proud of Together, we are doing a great job at keeping case numbers low and each other safe . We only need to look overseas to see what another reality might be. There are things we have had to sacrifice, and it hasn't been easy. But together, we are making a big difference. Thank you, Queensland.

02.01.2022 Please remember to be COVID-19 safe
