25.01.2022 Doesn’t look like summer here at Guthega

25.01.2022 Guthega Inn is (only slightly) open this June long weekend. We will open from 11am until sundown on Saturday and Sunday for coffee, a light snack and drinks. Please enjoy the snow, sunshine and Peak festival.... Unfortunately we are without staff until later this month and won’t be able to offer full service until then - apologies.

21.01.2022 Guthega Pondage began spilling this morning having been virtually empty overnight. This evening the north wind is howling and it is still raining. Waiting for the breeze to back into the west and for the rain to turn to snow. Hoping to get the skins out of the cupboard on Friday. Fortunately proximity isn’t a problem for us.

Our builders have done a wonderful job of securing the Inn and we have received fantastic support and information from the authorities. Now just waiting for hopefully nothing to happen. Jenny & Nick

14.01.2022 We would like to let you know that we are changing the way we operate at Guthega Inn. The Inn will undergo significant works over the coming summer to protect and enhance it’s character, safety and comfort and we are now taking the opportunity to streamline operations. From Monday August 19th 2019 we will not open to the public until 3pm each day when we will serve drinks, coffee and small plates. We will not be open at lunchtime for food or drinks and will post signs trail... side to that effect. We will of course continue to take dinner reservations and to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for our houseguests. Thank you. Nick and Jenny Kennedy.

The team from ABF Building in Jindabyne are again hard at work delivering a revitalized and fire ready Guthega Inn to be ready for winter 2020. Still plenty to do!
