Any guard will still allow seeds, mud, dirt into the gutters and once it starts growing it tangles around the guard either plastic or metal and wont move and just builds up more and more as ypu see by the pics from a job Friday. A regular 12 month clean depending on your location is the easiest and best way to keep your gutters clear.
