24.01.2022 The Shepparton Library currently has on display all of the entries in this years Greater Shepparton Grades 5 and 6 Story Writing Competition. Come in and take a look at all of the fantastic picture books that have been written and illustrated by local children. The winning book is being published and will be going out in the 3 year book bag for the next 12 months. Well done to everyone who entered. #GVLibraries #GSCC #librarieschangelives

22.01.2022 All libraries will be open between Christmas and New Year! All our Libraries and our Administration office will be closed from 2pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th. The Mobile Library will visit Strathbogie only on December 24th, from 10.30 to Noon. All our libraries will re-open on December 29th, 30th and 31st with current opening hours. We will also be closed for New Years Day, Friday January 1st, reopening on Tuesday January 5th at 10am. Please check our website at www.gvli...braries.com.au for further details. 20.01.2022 Road-works in near Numurkah Library... Moira Shire will be doing roadworks on Quinn St from today until Friday. Quinn St will be closed for traffic and parking and access to the library laneway and carpark from Quinn St will not be available.... Foot traffic to the library along Quinn St from Melville or McCaskill Streets should be available. Library patrons should be able to access the carpark from Saxton St via the laneway. Sorry for the inconvenience.

01.01.2022 Come and visit us Saturday mornings, from tomorrow! Hours will be limited to 10am -12noon across all our libraries, and will provide opportunity for those who have been unable to visit during our modified week-day hours. We have been gradually increasing our services and monitoring our capacities to ensure our communities can borrow and use our computers as safely as possible. From the 24th November we are increasing our capacities in each library as allowed by Government reg...ulation. Our meeting rooms will be available for community use, with a capacity limit of up to 10 people at any one time, depending on size of the room. The Mobile Library modified schedule will continue for the remainder of the year, but we can now allow more people on board at any one time. For more info, check www.gvlibraries.com.au
