11.01.2022 I had an interesting weigh in yesterday with a Nissan Navara. 1. The GVM was up near maximum when the van was hooked up. Max 2910 kg Actual 2900. 2. The ball mass was up at maximum 300kg.... All OK - NO! The sting in the tail was that you have to reduce the allowable maximum GVM by 410kg when the ball mass is 300kg. SEE ATTACHED PLATE FROM INSIDE THE CAR DOOR This made the vehicle 400kg over. 2910 - 410 = 2500. Actual GVM 2900. Maximum allowable with a 300kg ball mass = 2500. Wow! #gvmcheck
