24.01.2022 Funny but true - beekeeping with a shot gun Yesterday I collected a large hive from a foam child seat and put it in a box. Today I got home to find a large swar...m 10-15m high in a tree. My swarm catcher pole would not reach so cut the branch with 2 shots of my shotgun and the bees and branch fell straight into the bee hive below. I wish I had videod it now as it was awesome! Bees are happily in there new home! See more

18.01.2022 Our bees of the GV. Have been given a chance to get out of the cold and head to Swan Hill to pollinate early season plums. Leaving in the next couple of weeks .Plums in our area are normally in September
