20.01.2022 What a great start for GV Skin today! 13.01.2022 Just cannot resist sharing the beauty of autumn season. We also cannot resist sharing our statistic that we have diagnosed over 500 skin cancers since we started in early March 2020. Yes! We reached that figure in just 2.5 months. Not only that, we are pleased to help those who have been suffering from rashes or dermatological conditions for a long time to recover soon. Skin cancers do not stop growing because of the COVID-19. We really want to encourage you especially thos...e who have any skin concern to make a wise step. Don't let the COVID-19 defeats us in fighting SKIN CANCER! You are welcomed to book an appointment to see one of our highly trained skin doctors. To make things even more convenient for you, you can now make an appointment online via our website www.gvskin.com.au or HotDoc app (by searching GV Skin & Specialist Centre). We look forward to seeing you to address any of your concern related to skin.

12.01.2022 We hope everyone is keeping well and safe during this COVID-19 lockdown period. GV Skin & Specialist Centre has been operating as usual, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5pm) to provide essential services for the diagnosis, surgical treatment and post-operative care for patients affected by skin cancers. Immediate medical attention is vital for aggressive skin cancers such as melanoma, high risk SCC, aggressive BCC on head and neck and the rare ones. They are potentially fatal a...nd can have significant long-term impact on the patients. There is nearly one melanoma diagnosed every half hour and one Australian died from melanoma every 5 hours. No one should undermine the lethality of skin cancers. We have put all the possible safety measures in place to protect our patients and our medical staffs. So, we are prepared to continue providing the essential services for patients with concerns of new and/or growing lesions. We offer telehealth services, which include telephone consultation or videoconferencing. This allows proper triage of patients with any skin concerns. We stay at work for you to prevent any delay in diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. Call us on 03 58 200 500 if you have any concern or question!

11.01.2022 GV Skin would like to thank you for your great support in the year 2020 despite the circumstances due to COVID. Wish you and your family a safe and peaceful Christmas and New Year!

03.01.2022 Like any other cancers, the earlier the diagnosis of skin cancer, the better the chances are to cure it! Do you know that most melanomas grow as new spots, not from the existing moles? A lot of us struggling to monitor our own skin regularly, let alone finding new spot. Automated total body mapping Master by Fotofinder helps detect the smallest changes and new spot for you! Call us on (03) 58 200 500 for bookings or questions.

02.01.2022 Do you know that we have a brand new full body surround cabinet for narrowband UVB phototherapy?
