25.01.2022 Congratulations to the Yr 10 Drama Class on their superb presentation of a collection of 10 minute plays in the inaugural Yr 10, 10 Minute Play Night that took place on 31 Aug and 01 Sept. The evening gives students an opportunity to work across a range of differing themed plays and the challenge of taking on a variety of characters on the same evening. 23.01.2022 Greenwood College Beach Cup, took place last Friday. 250 Greenwood College students had a great day of beach volleyball. Students attending participated in a 2v2 Doubles competition and 4v4 tournament. The weather was fantastic and we appreciate the support from Trent Irwin, Peter Fitzgerald, Caitlin McCarthy and Brenden Guard on the day. Congratulations to the following teams who placed 1st and 2nd in their divisions.

22.01.2022 Muay Thai (also known as Thai Boxing) is a traditional martial art from Thailand. It is a style of disciplined fighting that utilises the whole body requiring precision, agility and focus. In preparation for World Day in December - Head Muay Thai Coach Brett Grasso and his team, from The Academy of Mixed Martial Arts Balcatta introduced a group of Greenwood College students to some basic techniques of this powerful Thai tradition.

21.01.2022 It's been a busy week at Greenwood College. Our IEC students enjoy their final excursion of 2020 at Latitude.

21.01.2022 Year 10 Drama is presenting its collection of 10 minutes plays for 2020. The students have been working hard to prepare their performances and are looking forward to the event. Due to COVID 19 restrictions the performance nights will be split into two audiences. Monday the 31st is an ADULTS only evening and due to social distancing only 30 tickets will be sold. Tuesday night is a STUDENTS only evening and 60 tickets will be made available for purchase. ... Tickets sales start Monday the 24th of August. Parents can book tickets through their children or by emailing [email protected] . Hurray as tickets wont last long.

20.01.2022 Last Friday a group of students studying Japanese had a live link up with a school in Japan. They asked each other questions in English and then in Japanese. Both groups really enjoyed the exchange experience and look forward to more online link ups.

The students were so excited to hear all about our Aviation and Volleyball Specialist programs we offer. The fun continued experiencing volleyball drills and sitting in the helicopter. 06.01.2022 Last Friday, we celebrated World Day at Greenwood College. The assembly preparations had been weeks in the making, but the time, effort and dedication given by students and teachers was well worth it. The event was a true celebration of everything that make our college so unique. The show was an absolute burst of colour and energy from traditional cultural dress to performances, leaving the audience captivated and entertained the whole time. We are especially grateful to all ...who contributed behind the scenes to make the day truly memorable.
