24.01.2022 That time hoards and hoards of passionate and pissed off women took over Geelong's streets to demand safety, justice and respect. The sentiment from the crowd was loud and clear - Enough is Enough!... Solidarity to each and every woman and child who Marched 4 Justice, Tuned in at home 4 Justice, Sent wishes 4 Justice, Spoke up 4 justice, or Silently demanded Justice in their head last night. Big thank you to our marshals for making this a safe and respectful space for everyone.

22.01.2022 The State is an insidious and invisible perpetrator of violence against women. And like most perpetrators, the State - or representatives of the State, cry, feign remorse, claim to be the victim, try to wriggle out of accountability, make false and wishy washy promises, and blame others. Also, how stupid does he think we are? He's lied, smirked and blustered through his Prime Ministership and past Ministerial roles and has clearly shown in this interview he has no plan to move forward and the only thing he's sorry about is that his blatant and harmful misogyny has been clearly exposed before the nation. https://www.crikey.com.au//scott-morrison-gaslighting-dar/

22.01.2022 The Federal Government is set to cut funding to homelessness services by over $50million. This is because they are refusing to continue to cover the costs of Equal Pay for homelessness workers that union members won in 2012. Funding that the Federal Government has agreed to provide since 2012. If this support is withdrawn, hundreds of workers in frontline homelessness services will lose their jobs and many critical services will be cut. This at a time when homelessness services are experiencing a surge a demand due to the impact COVID-19 on jobs and on our economy. https://www.megaphone.org.au/p/dontclosethedoor
