24.01.2022 I know we said we were just closing for renos but.... Tonight was our last ever service at Tallwood. I couldn't of imagined that what starte...d as some banter between 2 good mates, could of evolved into what it is today. Thank you @claytontill for kicking off this adventure with me! I would like to thank each and every amazing person that has worked for us in the last 7.5 years. Without all of the staff dedication none of this would of been possible. To my current staff - thank you for putting up with me (ha!) and for all of the sacrifices you make. You are all 100% epic. There has been many ups and downs over the years and I can't say it's been easy - it's a hard industry; but having the restaurant full of friendly faces, full of customers that become friends, makes it all worth it. A very special thank you to my beautiful wife and son for always sticking by me, even when they don't see me most nights.... and to ALL of the families involved in the Tallwood life for letting us do what we do. Thank you to our suppliers and local growers - we've been so lucky to be surrounded by incredible local produce and people and couldn't of done it without you. I am truely grateful to you all. 18.01.2022 It's been a long, hard 2020 so far but after 7.5 years of hard work, our restaurant has some big maintenance jobs that need to be done. Our plan, this winter, was to really get some big things renovated/ fixed and we dont want to hold back, so we will be closing down for a month with our last service being August 1st (back in September) If you want to get your Tallwood fix in, be quick to make a booking as at this stage we will not be taking booking past Saturday August 1st....
