20.01.2022 Kids shouldn't have all the fun! Raise the Bar, our adult SATB vocal group, was formed to allow singers of all ages to work to an advanced level. As a logical e...xtension of GYC, we invite GYC alumni, family members and other singers of Geelong to join. With conductor Laura and the incredibly talented Brad on piano, it’s a well paced evening for those who enjoy performing music in a range of styles and levels of difficulty. 07.01.2022 Happy Grand Final day! What a fun gig this would be.

06.01.2022 This time a year ago, Raise the Bar, together with Geelong Lyric Theatre choir, were fortunate enough to form the community choir in the Geelong season of The Events at GPAC. For many of us, it was our first time on the big stage, let alone in performing in a professional theatre production! It was a privilege to work with the two talented actors, Catherine McClements and Johnny Carr. We were in awe of their ability to produce such compelling performances night after night. It was certainly an unforgettable experience for us all.

05.01.2022 That's a wrap for RtB for 2019. We have had a busy and eventful year. We have sung many different songs, from ABBA to Mozart's Lacrimosa. We were honoured to sing at the VIP opening of the Geelong Arts Centre. Last night we finished the year by performing our Christmas songs at the Geelong Youth Choir end of year concert, followed by a small celebration. We look forward to doing it all again next year!

04.01.2022 We're hiring! Raise the Bar is looking for a new conductor for 2020 and beyond.

04.01.2022 As part of the Geelong Youth Choir community, Raise the Bar has decided to cancel rehearsals for this term. We feel this is the best and safest decision for our singing community and for the wider community as well. We plan to stay connected as best we can, and look forward to meeting up again later in the year.

03.01.2022 Lest we forget.

03.01.2022 Raise the Bar is proud to be part of the Geelong Youth Choir organisation, which caters for singers from pre-school through to adulthood. Some current and former choristers are performing in the CentreStage production of The Sound of Music at GPAC. Special shout out to mother and daughter nuns, GYC president Leonie and her daughter Freya.

03.01.2022 What an inspirational and joyful performance from Find Your Voice All Abilities Choir from Warrnambool.
