10.01.2022 UPDATE ON STAGE 3 EASING OF COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS (9 July 2020) Today the ACT Chief Health Officer has finished conducting a ‘check point’ and has made th...e decision to pause our move to Stage 3 easing of restrictions. No changes outlined in Stage 3 of Canberra's Recovery Plan will proceed this Friday 10 July 2020. We will remain in Stage 2.2. This is not a step backwards in Canberra’s easing of restrictions. We are pausing until we have a better understanding of how the Victorian outbreak will impact the ACT. We know this will be disappointing for many, but we cannot put all our hard work at risk. The safety of our community, particularly our most vulnerable, has been our main priority from the start. The unfolding situation in Victoria shows how quickly things can change. But we are well prepared, and we will get through this difficult time together stronger on the other side. To read an updated Canberra Recovery Plan in line with this decision, visit www.covid19.act.gov.au/roadmap
