23.01.2022 Some of our competition team will compete in two weeks , some for the first time in a very long time. This group generally work very hard, but will be working exceptionally hard in the next two weeks! If you hear the routine music going , pop over and have a look . They are pretty impressive

22.01.2022 Our next Wide Bay superstar to take the stage is Gracie. Grace joined our Wide Bay Family back in 2016. After 2 recreational classes she joined our Comp Team and has been a permanent fixture ever since. In her time at Wide Bay she has received many accolades including Most Improoved, Elite and Level 5 gymnast of the year and 2019 Junior Gymnast of the year . Today she will be level testing for level 6 . Good luck Gracie Girl . You are a rock star ... Edit :- Gracie passed with flying colours achieving her level 6 badge. You are amazing Gracie !

Kaitlyn started with Wide Bay Gymnastics as a young girl training and competing gymnastics all the way through to level 10 . Coaching , training and more importantly mentoring today’s young gymnast now occupies most of Kaitlyns time . ... Happy Birthday Kaity , hope you have a super special day

Free G or Freestyle Gymnastics is a class loaded with fun and flips all in a controlled environment and under the careful guidance of one of our highly trained coaches . ... Acrobatics is also full of fun and flips . It is a discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform figures consisting of acrobatic moves , dance and tumbling all set to music.

We sincerely thank you all for your support and friendship over the last year and we look forward to a bright and happy future with you all by our side . Laura started gymnastics as a recreational gymnast in 2017 moving onto the competitive team in 2018 This year she was awarded the Wide Bay Gymnastics Club President’s award to reflect her dedication to the sport she loves. After only 2 months training at Level 5, she is bravely competing today with her goal of passing the level test. ... We are all behind you Laura !! You got this Edit - All of Laura’s training paid off and she passed today with no problems at all . So proud of you Laura

13.01.2022 While on holidays to visit her Grandparents , Louise (level 4) decided it was perfect timing to pop out some press to hand stands ! They are super Louise , keep going What skills have to been doing at home over the Christmas break ? Send any videos to our Facebook page and we will post them for you . Remember , safety is priority so no tumbling at home

12.01.2022 Wide Bay Gymnastic Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to graciously thank all coaches and volunteers who made yesterdays end of year gala a success. A huge thank you to the volunteers who cooked sausages , hand made all the sausage rolls , donated items to sell and helped out in the canteen. This made the day so much more enjoyable for all with refreshments in hand. It was lovely to see some new faces helping out. It was genuinely appreciated <3... A big thank you to our coaches! You all put in so much hard work and extra hours to make it all possible. A special thanks to Vicki Riphagen who continues to provide ongoing support and commitment in running events at our club. Our Gala was a team effort and ran smoothly with all gymnasts having a joyful day with their parents watching. Great work team!! Kind Regards , Justin, Nicole, Ash and Jonathan.

10.01.2022 Today we have a WideBay legend competing in her first sanctioned competition for 2020 . Mia has been with Wide Bay Gymnastics since the age of 8 when she started in Recreational Gymnastics. In her time she has been awarded both junior and senior Wide Bay gymnast of the year and she is always around to mentor or help those younger . She has proven time and time again that she is a competitive gymnast and today she will level test for level 8 at the Gymnastics Queensland Extra...vaganza on the Sunshine Coast. Mia will be up against many seasoned competitors today, but she has done it before and she will do it again ! You are an absolute rock star Mia and we couldn’t be prouder of you and what you have achieved. You are Hervey Bays highest ranked competing gymnast and we can’t wait to see what today holds for you . Reach the the stars Mia , we are all behind you !! EDIT :- Mia has reached over the required 39 to pass level 8 . Well done Mia !!!

08.01.2022 Our last gymnast to compete at Caloundra today is Violet . Violet started competing at Wide Bay in 2017. As a competitive Gymnast . Violet has taken every challenge given to her on board with great sportsmanship and talent ! These qualities not only earnt her Level 4 Gymnast of the year in 2019 , but she was also on the regional team in 2018. Something many competitive gymnasts dream about . Today ,we know that that quiet determination along with her super strength she will... kick her next goal . We can’t wait to see you holding that leve 5 badge Violet ! Edit - Violet passed with flying colours and is now in possession of a brand new level 5 badge . Well done Violet

08.01.2022 This morning we have 3 local Legends competing at Caloundra . Today Kiara , Laura and Violet will be level testing for Level 5 . Our first gymnast is Kiara She started gymnastics in 2017 in Rec then joined comp team in 2018. At her first time at states in 2019 and she came home with 2nd overall for her age division in level 4 . She has also been awarded Junior Gymnast of the year for 2020 for her dedication and sportsmanship . She is a real go-getter who loves to tumbl...e and fly on bars Go get them Kiara !! Edit - Kiara did what she does best and smashed out some beautiful routines . She also has a leve 5 badge as reward for her hard work and dedication . Well done Kiara !

05.01.2022 Today one of our talented Kindy Gym kids kicked a massive goal . Today Arielle smashed her chin up pull over , and look at that smile ! At only 4 years old , this is a massive achievement . This little one really is reaching for the stars . We are so proud of you

04.01.2022 Yesterday our competitive leave 3-8 competed in a non sanctioned competition at Gymfinity Gymnastics in Bundaberg . It happened to be the first comp in over a year for some and the first comp doing that level for others . All did a fantastic job and really did their club proud with not only their skills , but also their sportsmanship( Something we consider more important then winning.) We are so proud of all of you and it seems you all really did #reachforthestars yes

01.01.2022 Our Gymnasts who are competing this weekend has only been made possible with the love , guidance and support of this lovely couple . Tracy and Tony from Gymfinity Bundaberg have been mentoring , training and supporting our club for many years . Since September they have amped up that support and made it possible for our kids to compete and level test . Having guest gymnasts in your club can’t have been easy, but the patience and support you have freely given them is something we will never forget. You never lost sight that this is all about the kids and how you can see them all participate in the sport they love. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you
