25.01.2022 We’re open today, despite any rain we might get. So bring your umbrella and treat yourself, the bees, butterflies, birds and wildlife to some beautiful plants and some January sale bargains we are here from 9am-1pm. Valley Bees also have a meeting here from 9am today, if your attending please register at the Nursery sales/information desk first. We love this rain, lots of ground getting lots of wet ready for lots of planting ... Happy planting ~ Esther
24.01.2022 Our bio-control bug crew will be releasing a large number of biocontrol insects for Cat’s claw creeper control over the next couple of months. These releases are being conducted on behalf of the Gympie Regional Council EnviroLevy funding program. If you know of any sites on Council land and within the Gympie Council Region, where our little insects can help control this invasive weed, then please let us know the location. ... For those who are still waiting for their insects for releases on private property, we will be in touch shortly. Thank you in advance
22.01.2022 Come along to Widgee this Saturday morning from 8:30am to assist our local Koala populations by increasing food and habitat trees. You can also meet the local Koala Action Gympie Region group who can answer all of your questions on koala conservation! And remember..... NO TREE , NO ME !

Lachlan has won a Family Pass to Australia Zoo after donating an amazing 388 containers to Gympie Landcare worth $38.80. Well Done Lachlan! Thank you to Australia Zoo for donating this awesome prize for our Junior Landcare heroes!
10.01.2022 Our Junior Landcare Superheroes have been working very hard to prepare the site for their brand new Frog Pond !! We spent 2 hours digging a MASSIVE hole, which will soon be turned into a lovely and safe frog habitat, so that we can encourage safe frog breeding within our region. All of our Junior Landcarers should be extremely proud of the effort they have put in so far. We cannot wait to see the end result!!!

08.01.2022 Check out our Junior Landcare veggie garden! With some much needed TLC after being a bit neglected throughout quarantine, our veggie garden is starting to thrive once again! We've got capsicums growing, strawberries , tomatoes , green beans, corn , pumpkins, egg plants , parsley and a variety of herbs! The hardest part is stopping the kids from eating them all before we can make something delicious for our Junior Landcare warriors! Have you enrolled your child for Junior Landcare next year?
