25.01.2022 Our shop on Stewart Tce will be closed on Monday but our emergency service will be operating 24/7 as always. Please don’t call unless it is urgent. Happy Australia Day.

25.01.2022 Great review from a great guy: I rang around the sunny coast to get a late model Key reprogrammed for my wife's 4wd and I got 3 different prices from one guy at Tewantin/Noosa after ringing on 3 separate occasions over 2 weeks! (Wtf?) Then I rang Gympie Master Locksmiths and got a quote that was WAY cheaper & they came out to our farm that afternoon as well! Kile was super nice and fast. Now my wife has her car back after getting mucked around by others...and I'm back in the good books! Thank you to ALL the crew of this company. Cheers guys.... very happy!! Regards Steve W. Amamoor

24.01.2022 We are really happy to assist people out of normal business hours with an emergency situation. However, the phone calls this weekend have not been urgent. A call earlier this afternoon was someone wanting to have their batteries changed in a garage remote control. A trip to the supermarket will easily sort this issue. Please have a think before you call, especially as these types of calls are prevalent and often start before 5am.

21.01.2022 Are your most valued assets safe?

21.01.2022 We do apologise if the shop is closed at times. We are doing our best to assist all.

21.01.2022 Fun Friday..... love this!

21.01.2022 The shop re-opens Thursday. Just party till then.

21.01.2022 We are always fixing up problems caused by handymen. Unfortunately many businesses (mostly real estates) don’t realise there are massive fines for not using a locksmith.

20.01.2022 Our shop will remain closed until 8.30am Tuesday. For all emergencies throughout the Easter break we are still available 24/7.

20.01.2022 The car keys are often stolen from inside your home.

20.01.2022 We recognise that we are not all in the same boat when it comes to Covid-19. However, we are certainly in the same storm. So many have lost their jobs, many are... spending hours home schooling their children (as my daughter in law is). Isolation is resulting in suicide (our veterans are in real trouble). Some have experienced near death experiences from the virus. I don’t have the answer, we are all doing our best. Please, just please be kind, that’s a start. See more

19.01.2022 Just a little reminder.

18.01.2022 Love seeing this type of stuff when I’m out and about.

18.01.2022 Please lock up.....everywhere. Living out of town does not mean you are safe.

18.01.2022 It’s all about doing the right thing by our customers. We are currently installing restricted key systems in child care centres and retirement homes. All care must be taken and all staff members with complete this course, too.

16.01.2022 This coming Monday is a public holiday and our shop will be closed but our Emergency Service will operate as always 24/7.

15.01.2022 Dad joke: Dad, did you get a haircut? No, I got them all cut. (Me at the barber today, below)

15.01.2022 Why Hire Your Local Locksmith? There are many advantages when hiring the services of a local locksmith. Here are 5 important reasons to consider: Economical ...Local locksmiths charge economical rates and the fee they charge often includes travel charges as well, which means that you do not have to pay extra in case you hire them. Scammers often advertise initial low pricing, but quickly inflate them unnecessarily when on the job. Available in Emergencies Other service providers are often not available to serve you in times of emergencies which can be very time consuming and inconvenient. Aware of Local Practices Local locksmiths are aware of local practices and will be more careful about regulations and other legal concerns. Trustworthy It is logical to expect that your local locksmith will be more trustworthy as compared to an outside company especially when it comes to home or office security. Properly Trained A certified locksmith and Guild Member is certified, goes through professional training and years of apprenticeship so you can be assured they know what they are doing. So instead of searching online and looking for the first, best-advertised offer (which can often be a scam), why not be prepared and get to know your local certified locksmith?

15.01.2022 Due to pressure from friends and family (even though Stewart wants to stay and work), he will be heading to Cairns (after work on Sunday afternoon) for a week to celebrate his 60th birthday. We are so grateful to have Heritage Locksmiths assisting our very own legend locksmith, Dean next week (thank you Geoff). Stewart will still be taking calls as always.

15.01.2022 Need a remote control? It's always best to a have spare or it can cost you big time through your car dealership. #CarRemotes #GarageRemotes #GympieMasterLocksmiths.

14.01.2022 Only use a Master Locksmith.

13.01.2022 Some things in life are worth keeping on speed dial ... Your local Locksmith is one of them!

13.01.2022 Certainly acknowledging our day, but there will be no stopping. We are still available 24/7.

13.01.2022 I was having a great Friday till I realised it was only Wednesday.

12.01.2022 Did you know that Harry Houdini, possibly the most famous escape artist of all time was also a locksmith? It's true! Here are 5 interesting facts about Locksmiths you probably don't know www.dailyu.com//5-interesting-facts-about-locksmiths-you-d

11.01.2022 A thank you gift from our very special neighbours. An example of their fabulous work. Thank you, In House Monograms.

11.01.2022 Friday night fun! I love the Rocky Horror Show.

11.01.2022 Just a little insight into the day Stewart had yesterday. He woke to do accounts at 4-30 am by 5-30 he was travelling to a job that was over 100 kms away out west. He didn’t stop at all for something to eat (he had no time). He left his last job at the Gympie RSL (only because they closed) at 10pm. He has a very similar day today. So if he seems exhausted to you, he is.

11.01.2022 Does your meter box have a padlock on it?

10.01.2022 Sorry I missed fun Friday, I’m catching up today .

09.01.2022 Just letting you know early.

09.01.2022 Lest we forget.

09.01.2022 Not the best thing to be doing at sunset in Mooloolaba on Australia Day. Locks don’t take holidays.

09.01.2022 I repeatedly fix the work of handymen and it makes me mad. Did you know that Qld legislation states that if you hire an unlicenced security provider to carry out lock or security work there is the possibility that you will be fined $55,000? If you are a repeat offender you could even wind up in prison. Is it worth the risk? https://www.qld.gov.au//check-a-licence-a/check-a-licence

08.01.2022 Did you know that Guild Members are obligated to serve their clients and the community in a manner which accords with the highest moral principles? For Guild m...embers, the practice of the craft of locksmithing must be based on sound engineering knowledge and craftsmanship, together with an ethos which embraces honesty, a sense of fairness and fidelity to each client's security. The Locksmiths Guild of Australia Code of Practice is your key to verify peace of mind.

08.01.2022 Please remember to lock your homes and cars. Break-ins are prevalent at this time of year. There are posts on most community pages if you care to look. Be vigilant and don’t become another statistic. Please remember to lock your homes and cars. Break-ins are prevalent at this time of year. There are posts on most community pages if you care to look. 07.01.2022 Unfortunately, it only takes 75% of burglars less than 5 minutes to enter a property ... and the results can often last a lifetime. When security matters, you can trust the services of a certified Locksmith.

06.01.2022 Have a great long weekend.

06.01.2022 Unfortunately, the shop will be closed at different intervals today while we perform emergency outdoor work as Dean is home due to a cough.

05.01.2022 We would like to assure Gympie and the surrounding regions that it is still business as usual for us as we are an essential and emergency service. Please take care during these troubling times.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to a massive change in circumstances our shop will only be open intermittently. We apologise to our customers for the inconvenience and Dean and I will continue to do the best we can, working extra hours to accommodate all ASAP.

04.01.2022 Wishing everyone a happy and safe Christmas as we all pray for rain. We are still available 24/7 for urgent call outs over the public holidays. Please do not call for general enquires. The shop in Stewart Terrace, Gympie will be closed until Thursday 2nd January 2020.

04.01.2022 A locksmith’s moment of enjoyment.

03.01.2022 New at the Plaza. My son, Todd, is keen to have a go with the flying fox over the river, too.

02.01.2022 It’s not Funny Friday this week. We, as Locksmiths are sick and tired of people coming into the shop to pick our brains on how to do a job that we should be doing. Yet again we have had unlicensed and unqualified maintenance/handymen trying to repair locks. This is against licensing laws and often costs clients twice as much as it should as we end up having to rectify the job anyway. This is a finable offence under Fair Trading.

02.01.2022 Our next door neighbours. You can’t beat Stewart Tce for style.

02.01.2022 We are so incredibly grateful to the thoughtful customers who have come into the shop today and brought us hand sanitiser, Glen 20 spray and other helpful items. Thank you for understanding how difficult it is for us to find these items currently and still be working the long hours that we do. Thank you so much for your kindness, we appreciate it more than we can say.
