23.01.2022 Last week our Yakisoba (fried noodles) was a big hit, so today we are going all out with three different kinds: - Pork and tonkatsu sauce - Beef curry - Chicken teriyaki ... All kinds are just $10 a bowl. We are thinking of adding Yakisoba to our permanent menu, so your feedback would be appreciated!

18.01.2022 KATSUDON (CRUMBED PORK BOWL) Today we are doing katsudon for the first time - crumbed and deep-fried pork on a bed of wombok and rice, with tonkatsu sauce and mayonnaise. Very oishii! And for those interested in superstitions, it is traditional for Japanese students to eat katsudon the night before an exam, because 'katsu' means win!

14.01.2022 NIKU UDON (BEEF UDON) This week is Udon Noodle Week! All our Dishes of the Day will feature these thick and satisfying wheat noodles. Today we have Niku Udon (beef and vegetables with udon noodles) for $10. This is similar to Sunday's gyudon dish, but with udon noodles instead of rice.... Satoshi says udon noodles are very underappreciated in Australia, but are extremely versatile; they can be used instead of rice with almost any type of Japanese food.

11.01.2022 CHICKEN KARAAGE UDON It's Karaage Wednesday (and also Udon Noodle Week), so naturally we have Chicken Karaage Udon today for $12! (You can still have your karaage with rice if you prefer - the rice version is gluten free.) We have had a lot of requests to offer karaage on weekends, so starting this week we'll be doing Karaage Sundays as well as Karaage Wednesdays!

Because if the checkpoint is gone, it will make it a whole lot easier for our customers to get to Gyoza Man - less traffic on Wharf Street, and more visitors from Queensland!
