18.01.2022 A cafe constructed inside a shipping container called Lil’ Baker in Horsley Park required a deck area to be constructed to allow customers to sit in the great outdoor space. Under the pump to meet a short deadline for the client meant working into the night so they could operate on opening day. Dennis will work his hardest to ensure the client receives the desired outcome within the given time frame with the highest standard of work.

18.01.2022 Paper Bird Bar & Restaurant serves delicious East Asian inspired food with Japanese and Chinese flavours. With almost 2.9 kilometres worth of timber battens installed on this project, it took a lot of work and very careful maths & measurements to get right. Behind every slat you see is heavy duty sound insulation. Every group of timbers had to align with the one's below and had to be balanced between existing wall fixtures so it was all centralised and at the same time balanced equally from side to side. There was no starting from one side and ending up with with whatever at the end or anything like that. Measurements between the battens were like 12.75mm, 13.92mm etc... The ceiling alone has a group of custom made access panels that are hinged for air/con service. To sum-up....a highly technical fit-out but a visually stunning one.

14.01.2022 Around mid-2008 My uncle and I were begged to do this job from a friend of my uncles. We received it as a vacant patch of land and had to make do with a lovely (owner provided) 1970's caravan and annex. We soon realised we couldn't shower anywhere so we firstly had to build a makeshift shower. However, the middle of winter proved painful with no running hot water so I pretty much ended up "Macgyver-ing" a homemade hot water system which sat above an L.P. burner . Look, we bas...ically built everything you see which included excavation works with bobcat and excavator, surveying, form work, carpentry, Colorbond cladding of the Studio, internal linings and interior fixtures. Works performed by others included laying of concrete, electrical, plumbing and bricklaying. We couldn't stay to complete the house as we had to leave back for Sydney to start a big school contract booked in prior. See more

13.01.2022 This contract, completed with Taylor Constructions was some of the bigger projects we took on. The growth of this school eventually needed a larger and more modern admin building which therefore gave way for the old admin building to be converted to new arts rooms and additional classrooms. Our involvement in this job was to frame up all the exterior heavy duty steel studs to provide fixing for the brick veneer. All suspended ceilings, internal partitions, plasterboard lining...s and bulkheads that also included all aluminium door jambs, glazing channels and glass. It was a very demanding site with a number of challenges along the way however, it paved the way for a wonderful business relationship with both Taylor Constructions and the school and its principal which gave rise to numerous building works later on, direct to the school for years after handover. The yellow 'thingimajingy' shown below was a contraption I conjured up to cut the ventilation perforations in the fibre cement eaves. See more

12.01.2022 Thanks to everyone’s shares of the company Dennis has had a very busy month of site visits and creating quotes. If you are still awaiting a quote please don’t think you have been forgotten. Being a one man business Dennis works during the day, enjoys some time with the family in the evening and then when the kids go to bed he sits down to do his quotes. 11.01.2022 A recent job completed in Narellan Vale. The client had an existing opening but no door, meaning no privacy. The client wanted a door to fit on the wider than standard doorway. Not being able to purchase a door combination to suit the opening an order was made for a door that then required modification. This allowed for us to keep the panel pattern to retain the look of exisiting doors in the home. This double hinged solution allows for a normal doorway with the possibility to open the smaller door to widen the entry point. We were also able to source architrave to match the existing profile.

11.01.2022 Fogo Brazilia Churrasco's Flagship restaurant was a big job as my portion of the contract was 99% exclusively built by my hands. All the wall lining, ceilings, indoor & outdoor dining tables, two firewood storage feature surrounds, joinery wall behind the counter, bar area shelving against the back wall and hanging of approx 156 wooden stools to the ceiling. It was a backbreaker but one of those jobs that stand out in my mind saying" yeah, I did that".

07.01.2022 A very rewarding job is complete. The walls in this house had seen many years of love and kids running through the halls. Also a big change from the outdated colours to this fresh new look. A perfect match to the renovations taking place in this home! Glad the client Melissa and her 2 girls love the colour and end result as much as we do.

03.01.2022 Our current client had been trying to decide on a paint colour for months. This was halting laying of her new floors to complete her home renovation. With the help of Dennis and his years of experience within one meeting with him she had selected the perfect paint colour (all before he had won the job). This job is not merely painting, it is patching and plastering imperfections in the much loved family home to ensure the paint job compliments the amazing renovations. Changing the colour of the skirts to a white gloss and the walls to set in stone half strength. We can’t wait to see how amazing this home will look once the painting is complete!
