19.01.2022 Hi everyone. Its been a while since Ive posted anything, and Im sorry for that. Ive had some difficult personal circumstances Ive been going through, and that continue to challenge me, but Im hoping to get some new pieces started soon. As I do most of my work outdoors, the weather has been challenging as well, but as the days get warmer, I can get outside and get working again. Ive not been idle though. Ive been working on my adult coloring book, Ive been working hard in a small business course, and Im still working on ideas that will compliment the business. So stay tuned, lovely people. New stuff on the way soon.

10.01.2022 Retro 50s makeover. As some of you may know, Im slowly trying to create a retro pink kitchen. It will take a lot of scouring of opp shops to find individual pieces, and some modern retro appliances are on my list. But the main appliance in any kitchen is the refrigerator. With little hope of finding a modern retro fridge in Australia, I decided to makeover my standard 2 door Samsung fridge. Im extremely happy with the result. Lots of hours of toil, but well worth the effort.

04.01.2022 This plain white cabinet, transformed into a beautiful showpiece, returned home to its owner today. I painted it in Yarrow Yellow Chalk paint on the outside with cream coloured interior, and then designed and hand painted vine decorations in cream as requested by the client. I fell in love with this little cabinet and was sorry to see it leave, but very glad the client was happy with her cabinet makeover.

01.01.2022 I bought this vintage writing desk and probably overpaid for it in hindsight, as once I got it home, I found numerous problems I had to repair. Once the structure was repaired, I added vintage embellishments, and then I gave this desk 2 gorgeous coats of milk paint. It was then sealed with a thin coat of furniture wax. It was time consuming, but a total labour of love, and now has pride of place in my home.
