Project Budget: $3M AUD Project Size: 1,700m2 Project Description: The existing Grange Hill building at Genazzano FCJ College was redeveloped to accommodate an Early Learning Centre supporting the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy. The project involved a substantial refurbishment of the existing building to provide improved facilities for children and staff and the addition of a new glazed entrance foyer.

H2o has recently completed a significant upgrade for the Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI) to its infrastructure located at Horsham, in order to establish the innovative Australian Grains Genebank.

13.01.2022 Our White Box House in Hobart, designed for a single woman in her 70s, sits in a gully behind an existing remodelled 1840s stone workers cottage. Its simple cube like shape echoes previous Hobart styles namely Art Deco from the 1930s and New York 5 white forms from the 1980s. White Box House, clad in simple fibre cement panelling over steel and timber framing, achieves a 6 star energy rating. Consideration was particularly given to premium insulation, lighting effici...ency and cross ventilation. The bedrooms and living areas in the house challenge convention, with public areas on the upper floor (supplemented by a lift) to capture the sun and distant views. Designed by H2o architects and built by 2Construct P/L, the McKinnon Resource Centre will feature a novel natural zinc facade.
