23.01.2022 NEWS: FRRR selected by the Australian Government to deliver two Future Drought Fund programs This means more support for remote, rural and regional communitie...s to help them prepare for the impacts of drought. The Networks to Build Drought Resilience (NBDR) program will support future-focussed initiatives led by local community groups and network organisations in agricultural communities. FRRR's CEO, Natalie Egleton said, This is an exciting opportunity for building drought resilience from the ground up and we look forward to supporting the fantastic ideas and solutions that we know are ready to go across the country. FRRR will also partner with Australian Rural Leadership Foundation and Rural Economies Centre of Excellence to deliver the Drought Resilience Leaders (DRL) program. There are two different tiers you can apply for: Up to $20,000 for projects to be finalised within 18 months of approval; or Up to $60,000 for projects to be finalised within 18 months of approval. If you’re an organisation that has been successful in receiving a GCBF grant ...in the past, you’ve waited the required period for eligibility (at least one round after acquitting a previous grant) and are applying again this round, make sure your financial information is up to date in the online portal. Remember: Financial position of the organisation taken from your financial statements must be less than two years old, and Failure to provide this information will deem your organisation and application ineligible.
