When your got tire blowout on a highway speed, remember DO NOT turn your steering wheel, DO NOT step on brake! You may loose control of your vehicle by doing so! What you should do is: 1. Hold onto your steering wheel firmly - You may feel your car wobbly and been pull to one side, you will have to make sure you hold on tight to your wheel with both hands to keep your vehicle going straight. If you dont have enough strength, you can put your elbow against the vehicle door while holding onto wheel or start doing gym now. 2. At the same time, try to control your own feet flawlessly - Before you can control you vehicle, try pressing on your gas pedal gently, this can help you to regain control of your vehicle. Once you have the control of your vehicle, take your foot off the gas pedal slowly, and do nothing with your feet now- let the vehicle to slow down by itself. 3. When your vehicle speed drops below roughly 45km/h, hit the indicators and try to guide your vehicle off the road by slowly turning your steering wheel. - remember not to stop your vehicle in the traffic. (Unless you are expecting another incident.) When you are safely out of traffic, take a deep breathe and bless yourself on narrow escape, turn on your hazard lights, then place the triangle warning plate behind your car for coming traffic. If you have a spare tyre, try to replace it on a flat hard surface, in case your bumper jack slips off. If you dont have a spare tyre, keep your hazard lights on and drive slowly to a repair garage or call for help. How to avoid tire blowouts: Check your tire pressure and if theres any crack especially before a long trip, schedule tire rotations and alignment regularly. If you think theres something wrong, please contact us for a visit to check up ASAP.

07.01.2022 ... () 50150 100250 ------------------------------------------------- Have you ever notice theres a safety little helper called Hazard Warning Triangle on your car? It may be a little lack of existence but it can protect your safety in some emergency incidents. They are usually placed at the back of your car to help alert other drivers on an emergency pull over, to avoid secondary accidents. Warning Triangles usually comes with car on purchases, and it should be located in your boot or under the trim. How does your triangle become your little helper? Dont panic when you need to pull over your car to road side on an emergency (especially on a high way). First thing to do is to grab your triangle little helper from the boot and place it right behind! Right behind! Right behind your car!! (It is repeated 3 times because its important). Triangle alert the traffic and other drivers to slow down. DO NOT place the triangle in an inclined position, this may mislead the traffic. Activate your four way flashers on your car, to tell other drivers exactly which one is the disabled car. You may come across some kind people to help you out if you have done enough good deeds. Here is some guild line on where to place the triangle warning sign: Daytime - it should be placed approximately 50 meters behind your car if stopped on a regular roadside, and approximately 150 meters behind your car if stopped on a highway. Night time - it should be placed approximately 100 meters behind your car if stopped on a regular roadside, and approximately 250 meters behind your car if stopped on a highway. If your car stopped at a blind corner, the triangle should be placed at the corner. If your car stopped on a slope, the triangle should be placed on the top or bottom of the slope. Usage rate of the triangles are pretty low, which most people neglect its existence. I would suggest you to go to your trunk and check if its staying at the place that is supposed to be. If it is missing, they are inexpensive to stock in from your local auto-parts shops!

The car insurance company will quote annual/monthly price and your excesses which is the basic cost everytime you claim. Please make sure you understand your right and their policy before you purchase. If you are unhappy with their service you have 14-days cooling-off period.
