21.01.2022 As we move into national recycling week, I can’t help but post our Haasch products made from recycled materials that have found a new purpose. This one is so simple - called the bio bin, an office waste paper bin handmade from shredded waste office paper, water, a bit of cornflour and a little bit of salt. Our friends at Rosedale House Lifestyle and Learning in Coopers Plain have been the creators of our colourful and artistic biobin and Biobowls range for approximately 10 yrs. They have created their own beautiful versions from our plain bio bin range, as seen here. 04.01.2022 Today is the start of National Recycling Week 2020. We started our Haasch #sustainabledesign journey when it was more challenging to achieve than it is today. Our products in 2001 were made from predominantly industrial discards and #ewaste. We saw beauty in these waste materials that back inc2001, were destined for landfill. We proudly exhibited our pcb lamps made from ewaste for @planetark at National Recycling Week in Sydney in 2002 ( I think!) pictured here.
