21.01.2022 Next weekend its game on at Bairnsdale & District motocross club for its first ever Endurocross event. Please let everyone know as its a fun family day out , with the course designed for all rider abilities from juniors to expert level seniors. Juniors event is a one hour ( as many laps as you can do in 1 hour) Seniors is 2 hours. Lots of help is needed on the day even if its just holding a flag for one hour. Since Christmas its been super challenging times for many with the wide spread Bushfires and now straight into definitely more uncertain times for how long , well who knows . By Easter Ill definitely be back home from working away on the fires clean up and Ill have more time to put some plans in place for some tours later in the year all going well Until then the next 3 tours will be postponed till a later date . At this stage our f...irst tour will be our Expert tour July 25-26 . Lets all hope life can get back to normal soon . Its a great time now to get in the shed and do all that maintenance that gets overlooked like swing arm bearing, head stem bearing and all the other little jobs I know I generally overlook. 15.01.2022 Well its been a super hectic start to the year with the fires in vic and 6 weeks away working on the fires and no time for any riding So today I had my first day off this year and was super keen to drag my new toy out of the shed that my epic wife bought me for Xmas ( KTM 250 exc-f) So first ride and here are my thoughts. WOW why are more people not riding these little rockets. I mean seriously they absolutely fly in the techno stuff and after a solid two hour se...ssion I still feel quite fresh which is a surprise since I have lived in a pub for the last 6 weeks and had no time for any exercise at all Super nimble, lightweight and feels easy to ride faster for longer . Im excited as Im taking on the A4DE this year and it will be interesting to see how this little 250-f all pans out . Ill definitely keep you all posted on my thoughts, but so far super impressed. Sign on 7.00 - 8.00 am Sh...arp Riders Briefing at 8.30 am Sighting lap - 8.45am Junior racing starts at 9.00am Entries: You need to be registered with AMA, which can be done online at secure.enduro.asn.au A yearly membership: - Single $33 - Family $66 Once you have joined up with AMA during the week, all it will cost to participate is $40 juniors and $60 Seniors. The club will be running the following classes: Juniors: - up to 65 2T and up to 150 4T - 85 2T to 200 2T and 150 4T to 250 4T (classes will finalised on the day depending on numbers) - Juniors will all run for 1 solid hours (as many laps as you can do in 1 hour) Junior racing starts at 9am. Seniors classes - Open men: - Open women - 2 Man team - the above classes are 2 hours (as many laps as you can do in 2 hours). We are looking for volunteers to help on the day! 03.01.2022 Haasle Free High Country Tours is feeling very proud today In conjunction with the Bairnsdale and District Motorcycle club, we ran our first enduro/cross event and it ran super smooth. Its a credit to the people that support us and are always there to help out no matter what . Around 40 riders participated and we got a big thank you from each and every one as they finished the event. With something totally different including a lemans start the whole day was epic. Its ...smiles like Coby Lieuwen that give us the drive to keep pushing forward and creating fun days like these on the bike .
