24.01.2022 You may be wondering if there will be Habana Carols Under the Stars this year???? The answer is 'it's a different event for a different year'. We're having a Christmas party instead and the band is coming so we can still sing carols. If we sing loud enough, Santa should find us. If you've been to one of our Carols events you know it's always well organised and a lot of fun. Everyone is welcome. Thank you to Mackay Regional Council for their support through the Christmas Grants Program. Click on the event below for more details.

20.01.2022 Residents from any part of Mackay are welcome to vote at Habana. If you want a quiet polling booth with no lines, easy parking and less chance of sharing COVID-19....Go to Habana shed on Sat 28 March to vote, 1091 Mackay-Habana Rd. Give it a go, it's really not that far away and the drive is just gorgeous this time of year.

12.01.2022 The Habana Community Grounds have become a hot spot for visiting food trucks. It's so nice to see. They put out tables and chairs and light fire pits so you can enjoy the country feel. Everyone is welcome. If you're looking for a fun night out during the week. Looks like it's wood fired pizza and ice cream van this Thursday.
