19.01.2022 In order to grow to the next level we are looking for a Christian person to promote Help a Child nationally to churches, schools and other Christian organisations. This is a volunteer position and would suit an energetic retired person or someone willing to give back to the community and enjoys helping an organisation grow. We will pay reasonable travel and accommodation expenses. For more information on who we are and what we do, go to our website www.helpachild.org.au If yo...u or someone you know would be interested in this, please email a brief resume to [email protected] attention Ian Reeders or call me on 0439 145 956. Kind regards Ian Reeders.

15.01.2022 We are working on our new website which will have the same address as the old one, ie, www.helpachild.org.au. Also included will be an online sign up for new sponsors, and the ability to pay sponsorships online via Mastercard, Visa, and Internet Bank Transfer. Because of the new site registration we had a little difficulty (again!) with our emails, but they have now been restored. For some time now many of you have been supporting at risk kids in our Kalahandi, Orissa, India, (Goole Maps it) community development program. There have been severe storms and destruction in that area, and we are pleased to have been able to donate $5000 to the reconstruction and recovery there. So please understand if your child progress reports are a little delayed. The program has been delayed while the works are carried out. Kind regards, Ian Reeders

04.01.2022 Finally our new website is up and running. Go to www.helpachild.org.au to see what we are up to, what we are about, and how you can join in. You can now make secure payments for your sponsor child, both for existing and new sponsors, using 256 bit encryption, (a bit of techo mumbo jumbo that ensures your card and payment details remain yours and won't get pinched by others). So have a squizz and let us know what you think. Cheers Ian Reeders.
