The day will run as follows:... 11 am - check in and get your free drink at the bar, place your bets with the bookies and watch the Melbourne Cup race on the screen at noon. 12.15 pm - cocktail lunch (hackersley style!) will be served 2.15 pm - Bruce's Best Hat winner announced, Hackersley Cup runners introduced and trifecta bets can be placed 2.45 pm - Hackersley Cup race starts 3 pm - Hackersley Cup race winners and trifecta winners announced, home time or party on with us! 21.01.2022 Premier Mark McGowan enjoyed a wild night at Hackersley last night - including dessert by candle light after the storm cut our power. Well done to all our staff (Belinda Depiazzi, Alison Busher, Shenae Telini, Cherie Lovegrove, Freya Kerr, Laela Spiers, Miriam Bertola, Alex Keech and would be prime minister Matt Busher) for their above and beyond efforts, not just last night but also the last few weeks having to cope without our very valuable Shyra Pickering. 19.01.2022 This year was our biggest one ever, with about 100 of you lot here for the 2020 hackersley cup! Bernard Jack got his name on the trophy this time, after a tight race (video in next post).
