25.01.2022 We all need to stand up and fight this now!! https://reneweconomy.com.au/gas-lobby-seizes-covid-moment-/

25.01.2022 To those who are currently unable to work, take this opportunity to read widely on economics (MMT), civics and governance. Write to your local MPs and demand that they prioritise all those things we now are appreciating - health and education spring to mind. And the environment, - clean energy and renewables will improve energy security!!

24.01.2022 Just reflecting and wanted to remind everyone that voting independents first across our whole country will result in better outcomes for your community. Why? Because you elect representatives that truly care about your concerns. You can then vote for a party, keeping in mind that party is in all likelihood beholden to big business and tax evaders. Vote wisely at the next election my friends!!

22.01.2022 Many of the answers we need depend on government for all of us. This depends on us understanding how our economy actually works!

22.01.2022 "the beauty of central banking: central banks are unique entities in that they can create money. When we want to buy a government bond from a pension fund, the way we pay for that is creditif you buy it from a bankat the bank's account at the Reserve Bank. We are the one entity in the country that can create money just out of nothing. That's why it's incredibly important that the governance around that process is very strong". https://parlinfo.aph.gov.au//Senate%20Select%2...0Committee%2 Please remember these words from the RBA governor, Dr Philip Lowe at the next election, and vote for those who will use this power for good. Not to subsidise the bloated corporatocracy but to invest in our communities and countries future. That means we can have a green economy, employing everyone who wants a job, education free for all, healthcare and an end to homelessness, and every hard-working aussie will not be disadvantaged by our government showing compassion and leadersdhip. 21.01.2022 Just imagine if your support helps change the gender balance in our governments! We could be on our way to a better, more equal world.

18.01.2022 Everyday people in our community reach out to help someone and we admire their kindness and value their spirit. It is time that we have the same expectations of our federal elected representatives, or vote for those who will fulfil this simple value. Instead our current government is walking over those who require this and enabling their rich buddies to profit from our land and this is without due democratic process. I have had enough, and we should all make our voices heard.

17.01.2022 Ready for change? Our earth is. Highly recommend this book for a true understanding of how it can be achieved.

16.01.2022 If the current government can implement sweeping changes to their relationship with state and, dare we hope local government, imagine what could happen for better collaborative governance if we insist on new representatives - independent, forward thinking and willing to listen to other subject and technical experts. We will have that chance in two years. Take the time now to learn all you can and choose wisely. We now know that an Australian Government can spend what it needs to for the benefit of the country and this does not need to change post-covid or see austerity measures imposed on us. Govt deficits means a better life for all of us.

15.01.2022 And so the blinkers are coming off!!

15.01.2022 Share far and wide friends and followers. We need real solutions and real leaders, not the current crop of compromised, and unimaginative dinosaurs.

12.01.2022 Whether you follow politics or not, we should all e aware of how the federal govt spends into our economy. Here it is !

12.01.2022 I think it is really important to remember, and to talk to our friends and neighbours that by voting the right governments in they can transition all those currently working in a dying sector to a bright future with safe and secure work. Just saying!!

09.01.2022 Where are our all our other journos and citizens in fighting back against the destruction of our planet and our democracy. It is time to fight back!

09.01.2022 Minister Paul Fletcher managed to state 3 times in a single sentence the blatant lie that the federal government is not responsible for the job cuts at the ABC. This despite the federal government being the currency issuer that funds the ABC- the public broadcaster. He also stated, erroneously that the taxpayers money needs to fund the ABC and the taxpayers expect their money to be spent on less ABC reporting and information. This is a lie and is exposed in the NYT best seller by Stephanie Kelton - The Deficit Myth. Get it now, and see the lies being espoused by our dodgy leaders as the fakery they are.

08.01.2022 When enough is enough communities will come together for what is right.

06.01.2022 What was normal before this global pandemic was not all good. Disconnection in our communities, the fear and suspicion of others was already self-isolating us, so take a breath and lets consider a better way, the opportunity to develop greater empathy and to take back our place in the governance of our country. And learn about Modern Monetary Theory (google it).

05.01.2022 Without strong government that governs for all of us, our ability to help and support our neighbours and communities in times of hardship is being damaged. Our governments need to step up and provide equitable economic conditions that allow all of us to prosper. An example of this is in our education systems. Free education for all would create knowledgeable and engaged communities, free medical and dental would level the playing field and both of these together would create opportunities for growth, sustainability and advancement of our country.

04.01.2022 Talked to a new friend, and an old one today and it reinforces for me the necessity to have elected leaders who are empathic, tolerant and willing to govern for all. I know for a fact this happens more with more women in leadership roles.
