25.01.2022 Experiential play: E-motion wants to move. The Expressive Therapies Studio provides a range of materials to support kinaesthetic processing through movement and play. It is empowering to take ownership of the whole space and let the body lead.

21.01.2022 Authentic Relating: Authentic and lasting relationships have no less conflict than others, but they learn to move through the conflict courageously and consciously. Authentic relating involves being true to what is enjoyable as well as uncomfortable. Showing up for both. When a family or couple show up for each other in conversation or therapy, they are already well on the road to healing due to their willingness to work together. We move along many bridges of understanding a...nd can even build new ones over seemingly impassable chasms. We learn to explain and assert our values and boundaries instead of wacking up walls. We can express all of our emotions appropriately and safely. This is the strength of human connection throughout the diversity of life stages and experiences. 01.01.2022 Imaginative and Role Play: It is such a satisfying and regulating experience to fall into the timeless zone of your own imagination and become whoever or whatev...er you are. My siblings and I played out our favourite stories often, and though I may have taken more than my fair share of the dress ups, i gave 100% to any role I tried on. A teen dream to play my favourite fairy Puck, from Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', came to fruition in 2016 with Leongatha Lyric Theatre Company, alongside a number of other enjoyable roles. Now, I have the honour of companioning individuals of any age in the exploration of the many parts and perspectives of themselves, using the diverse range of materials in the Expressive Studio.
