Good afternoon all, In light of current events, and that all states are making moves to lock down all but essential services in the next 48 hours - the Hadfield tennis club championships is postponed indefinitely.... Until today I had planned to continue running this but with todays changes it would be irresponsible to do so. Please take care of you and your families and lets get back out there soon. 23.01.2022 Were back! The Hadfield Tennis Club has received the OK from the Moreland City Council to begin our staged return to Tennis. All members should have received an email tonight about our plan for the next 2 weeks before the next review point. It is really important that everyone familiarises themselves with the guidelines and if you are feeling unwell, stay away.

22.01.2022 Emails have gone out today to participants in Sundays Doubles Club Champs. 24 entries in the Premier Division 16 entries in the Open Division... The Premier Division will be run in a Double Elimination competition format. The Open Division will be run in a pool play format with the winners from each pool playing off for the title. The seeds have been determined by a team of experts assembled from around the planet. Premier Division Seed 1 - Laguda and Boucher Seed 2 - Turnaturi and Ursino Open Division Seed 1 - Chen and Augusto Seed 2 - Ozsoy and Johnson See you all Sunday from 12pm.

22.01.2022 As you will no doubt be aware, things in Melbourne have changed again. The Hadfield Tennis Club will be closed from 6pm tonight for the foreseeable future. We will reopen as soon as we are able to do so safely, and within the rules advised by the Victorian Government. Its been great having you with us over the last 6-8 weeks, and the buzz about the place has certainly been noticeable. Our sport has provided some respite from the craziness of real life, and its been great to... see everyone rekindling their love for singles tennis! Members, look out for an email later today confirming the same. Stay well, and we hope to be back together soon.

22.01.2022 On Friday, the Federal Government made their announcements, today at about 11am, Daniel Andrews has released his updates on Covid-19 and the way forward for Victoria. From here the Hadfield Tennis Club is awaiting communications over the next 24 hours from both the Moreland Council and Tennis Victoria before confirming our next movements as a club. Appreciate everyones patience, we are getting closer.

21.01.2022 Please be advised that from 27th March 2020 until further notice, the Hadfield Tennis Club is closed. This is in line with recommendation from Tennis Victoria, and in conjunction with the other Tennis Clubs in the Moreland City Council area. The closure includes casual hire (book a court), membership court hire, social tennis, all coaching, and access to the site.... We hope to re-open as soon as possible and look forward to welcoming you all back. As one of the last sports still operating, the club was full tonight on all 6 courts. A positive sign for Tennis in Hadfield, but also highlighting the need to play our part in smashing this pandemic. Keep safe and well, and see you soon.

20.01.2022 Hadfield Tennis Club will close completely for ALL tennis activity from 11.59 pm tonight until the end of July. This is by direction of relevant authorities with relation to the COVID-19 Hotzones which 3046 is part of. The Club Championships scheduled to take place this Sunday are postponed, to take place later in the year once circumstance allows.... 17.01.2022 SOCIAL TENNIS IS BACK!! Great news everyone, Social Tennis is back at Hadfield Tennis Club starting next Monday the 30th of November. It’s been a long time between drinks and the time has finally come to get everybody back out on the courts playing some tennis and having some fun! - 7.00pm arrival for a 7.20pm start... - cost is FREE for Members (for a limited time) $10.00 per person for non members. - 3 structured sets of tennis All are welcome! Members, non members, advanced players or beginners. Just turn up on the night!

16.01.2022 This Sunday, between 1.30pm and 3pm the Club has been booked out for an event hosted by the Dads of Glenroy (DG). This will be their first catch up face to face since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. (attached photo shows the group meeting during Covid) Will be a maximum of 10 Dads (+ dependant kids), per current gathering limits. 15.01.2022 The HTC Committee will meet tonight to discuss a return to Tennis at Hadfield Tennis Club. There are (quite rightly) a number of significant regulatory hurdles we have to prepare for before we reopen the club. This will take us some time to work through, in order to get the Green Light from the Moreland City Council to reopen. We will update you as soon as we can, via Social Media, as well as direct email. As a leased club, we will remain closed until we have got the official OKs to proceed.

04.01.2022 A quick update from the Hadfield Tennis Club with regards to the current COVID-19 situation. Tennis Victoria released a new update earlier this week which can be found HERE: With the above direction from Tennis Victoria and in conjunction with the advice of the State Government and the Moreland Council. The Hadfield Tennis Club Committee has committed that the club will remain closed entirely from all activities until at least May 11th. Which is the next check point for the V...ictorian State Government to review their emergency status. We look forward to being back on the court, as soon as possible.
