08.01.2022 The Dunsborough artificial reef is proving popular among locals and visitors fishing in Geographe Bay. A wide range of popular recreational species including dh...ufish, pink snapper, Samson fish and silver trevally (skippy) are attracted to the reef structures and provide good catches for small boat fishers. Deployed in 2013, in collaboration with Recfishwest, the reef is another element in our South West artificial reefs project, funded through fishing licence fees as part of the Recreational Fishing Initiatives Fund and the Royalties for Regions program. More information about the four-hectare reef, including coordinates, can be found at http://bit.ly/2u84rAv
