Our Div 1 girls went into a thrilling over time match but didn’t quite score the win, but what an amazing game to watch! 15.01.2022 GRAND FINAL CELEBRATION Keep Saturday night free to celebrate our amazing teams who made the Grand Final in #2020 Everyone is invited to head back to the Old Mill in Hahndorf after the final game is played on Saturday, from 5pm onwards.... Tables will be set up and meals can be purchased from the menu (we can’t do share platters due to covid). Food and drinks must be consumed seated but we know this won’t keep us from having a great night of celebration All teams playing in the grand final are encouraged to attend regardless of their result on the day. Congratulations to our 11s Div 1 & 2, 13s Div 1 & 2, 15s Div 1, B1 Black, B2 White & B3s for all making it to the BIG DANCE Grand Final Day! I encourage all HNC members playing or not to make some time to come out and support our teams whether it be for one game or all 8. ... To our Grand Finalist’s - your grand final match (whether you are playing tonight or tomorrow) is not about the past game you have played the opposition, nor is it about the future it is about the game you are about to play right at that moment. Past results are irrelevant, clear the slate & focus on the moment - the mental game is half the battle of any win. Make sure you step on the court with confidence (& not arrogance). Play with respect for your coaches & your team mates. Play with respect to the umpires, your opponents & the game of netball itself. Playing in a Grand Final is a privilege, treat it like one. Whatever the outcome may be, premiership or not, the Club is behind you & proud of you & so am I. 07.01.2022 CANCELLATION In line with the announcement by the SA Premier this afternoon, all community sport, both indoor and outdoor, is cancelled for at least 2 weeks fro...m midnight tonight. As a result, there will be no summer netball for that period. We are obviously very disappointed, but the most important thing is to keep our community safe. Please everyone, practice good hygiene, social distancing and all those things we learned earlier this year. We all hope that this outbreak is controlled quickly so we can get back to the sport we love.
