20.01.2022 Just a reminder that I will be holding a cake stall this Saturday up at Penong footy club if anyone would like to kindly donate any baked goods

20.01.2022 a massive thankyou goes out to everyone that donated towards our cake stall today! we raised $695 which also includes the meat tray raffle that was kindly donated by Ceduna Foodland and won by River Nicholls!

18.01.2022 There will be a free bus service leaving Ceduna Area School staff car park at 5pm sharp and returning at the end of the night. 36 seats available, message Roxanne skinner on 0408250045 by Thursday the 18th to secure a seat!

17.01.2022 My shave for cancer on Saturday night was an extremely successful evening with raising $16,342 on the night setting my current total at $29,214!!! For those of you who weren’t at my event on Saturday night, I have decided to donate my hair to be made into a wig for people battling cancer or alopecia. I couldn’t have done it all without the extremely generous donations from our small community and surrounding districts. I have very many thanks I would like to give, firstly to... my amazing committee, Nicole, Asha, Janet, Alli, Liss, Bron and Darrin Willis from Buzzys enterprises. These people helped plan such a successful night and it wouldn’t have happened without them! Western United Tigers football and netball club for allowing me to hold my event at the club, the club members that worked behind the bar, a special thanks to Sam Shipard and Marnie Irvine and the clubs extremely generous donation, thank you all! Sonya Coleman for being my MC and Sue Powell for talking to us about her journey with cancer. Bugi Weaver for the great live music, Jeremy (Fridge) for auctioneering, Asha & B for waxing, the 4 local men plus the surprise men for volunteering to be waxed, the men that cooked the BBQ and to the ladies that worked on the door. A HUGE THANK YOU to our Wild West caterers for supplying delicious salads, veggie bakes and sweets and Ceduna Meat Service, Ceduna Foodland and Nigel Skinner for supply the meat. Thank you to Sean for driving the bus and everyone who traveled for my event! Andrea Warmington for taking photos of the night and Tricia Shipard and her kitchen helpers. A thanks to everyone who helped with clean up on sunday. A huge thanks also to Mum, Dad and Rylee for being my biggest background supporters Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that has supported in one way or another over the past 4 months! 17.01.2022 Hi, my name is Hailee Skinner and I am 16 years old. On the 20th of October 2018, I will be shaving my hair off to raise money for the Cancer Council of South Australia. My decision to want to shave off my precious hair that I have been growing for the past 16 years has been greatly influenced by family members and members of the community that have been affected by this cruel disease. Not only does cancer have a huge impact on the patient, but if also plays a big part in t...he lives of the family members/carers and their loved ones. I have been passionate about doing this for the past couple of years and I’m finally taking a stand to raise cancer awareness. Two people very special to me, my poppa Stuie and nanna Raelene have both been in a fight with cancer. To this day my poppa Stuie is still battling with cancer and it has pushed me to want to help raise money for cancer and cancer research. At the end of the day it may only take 20 minutes to shave off my hair whereas some people’s battle with cancer never ends. My goal is to raise $3000 but I would love to exceed this amount. The money raised will be donated towards the Cancer Council of South Australia. Please share and help me raise money to help find a cure for cancer! 10.01.2022 I am very overwhelmed to say that with all of your kind and generous donations I have raised $7515.61. My new goal is to now reach $10,000. I’d like to thank all of the businesses and individuals that have donated, helping me get to where I am today. 06.01.2022 From my initial goal being $3000 and now being so close to reaching $10000 is an extremely overwhelming feeling and I cannot thank everyone that has supported me along the way enough, helping me to achieve what I have so far! The count down is on, only 1 week and 4 days until I shave my hair off and I would love to see all those who have donated over the past 3 months to come along for a great night and bring any family and friends, everyone is welcome! All of the money I have raised will be donated to Cancer Council SA, a great cause that supports cancer patients in south Australia

05.01.2022 Today I closed my fundraising account and donated $32,669.86 to Cancer Council SA!!! Another massive THANK YOU to everyone that has donated and supported me over the past few months.
