On Monday, 4 May he will be running a webinar on Raising Resilient Kids in the Coronavirus era. The spread of the coronavirus has turned life upside down, almost overnight, for millions of people around the world. Being a young person is complicated even without a global pandemic in the mix, and many adults are st...ruggling to navigate the new reality of remote schoolwork, lots of family time, and a ton of uncertainty about what happens next. The presentation will run for 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Dr Carr-Gregg will provide participants with practical, evidence based, skills, knowledge and strategies to manage their own wellbeing during this challenging time. The Senior School Pop-Ups have been a GREAT success and thanks to all of our student and parent volunteers, the place is looking ship-shape. For those starting to think about summer uniforms, we have high quality clothes at 50% of new uniform prices and PLENTY of ELC stock. Please pop in on a Monday morning or Monday/Wednesday afternoons and we’ll soon be open on Thursday mornin...gs too! We are urgently in need of Blazers, size 93 and above. We also need winter scarves, long-sleeved ELC tops and MS boys slickers. If you have any to donate, please bring them into the shop during opening hours or drop them off at the office. Our next Working Bee will be held on Monday 2nd September from 9:30am 11:30am. No experience necessary and it’s a great way to meet people if you are new to the school. The IPG will offer support, advice and friendship to families who have moved to Melbourne and are now part of our school community. 06.01.2022 Dear HPFC, We are a Haileybury family with two high-school children based at Castlefield campus (yr 10 and yr 8). Before the COVID restrictions we were operating a fine-dining French bistro called Curly Whiskers (featured in the Good Food Guide 2020 edition - see review https://www.goodfood.com.au//curly-whiskers-review-2019021). Following the initial announcement of restrictions in late March we began to "pivot" towards operating as a Providore, producing classic restauran...t menu items and complementing these with quality groceries for locals to be able to enjoy "Fine Dining at Home". Recent additions such as Scallop Mornay Pie and Beef Burgundy Pie have become instant hits. One of the features of the restaurant was the open kitchen where you could watch the chefs preparing your meals to order. The Providore features the same open kitchen with our chefs on display preparing take home meals. The store is open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday.
