About the Company World-class boat builder Haines Hunter is based in the western region of Melbourne and is seeking an Apprentice to join our exceptional team.... We require the following in a successful candidate: Own reliable transport; Punctuality and reliability essential; A positive and can do attitude; Experience within a manufacturing environment; Experience in cutting and fitting components; Assisting in the assembly of the hull, deck, and additional hardware components; Assisting in our Aftercare Centre; Assisting on repairs and custom fit-outs; You will be required to have a positive, team-focused attitude; Ability to work within a team environment efficiently or to operate on your own when required. A trade background in the Auto or Carpentry industry would also prove to be an advantage, as will an eye for detail. This role reports directly to the factory supervisor. Experience in Boat Building and Assembly is an advantage however not necessary. The successful applicant must be competent in using air and power tools including grinders.
