23.01.2022 TIP TUESDAY Have you ever been to a hairdresser and your colour hasn’t turned out how you imagined? Have you got extremely dry hair that has no life about it? ... Does your have break easily? Does your hair fade quickly after a colour? Did you know that all of this could be due to the shampoo and conditioner you are using? Professional shampoo and conditioner is designed to help all of this. Yes it is a little more expensive than the supermarket shampoo and conditioner but it also last a lot longer due to the small amount you have to use to achieve great results. Chemical reaction can also happen if you are using supermarket shampoo and conditioner. At hair by rhi If you come in wanting to go lighter and I ask what shampoo and conditioner you are using I may refuse to do it. I would prefer your hair stayed in great condition then snapping it off.

20.01.2022 Just a little message to let all my clients know that the reminder you are now receiving 24hours before your appointment is not off my salon phone (0408728841) it is a computer system that automatically does it for me. If you reply to this system that is ok, I just won’t get it until I’m back in the salon.... I’m still getting used to the system. 15.01.2022 3RD AND FINAL UPDATE I am extremely saddened to say that as of Thursday 26th Hair By Rhi will be forced to close the doors. I’m extremely sorry for so much miss communication but unfortunately that is the way this whole process has been. ... Hair By Rhi specialises in women’s colouring and cutting and I would say at least 95% of my clientele is that which I can not do in half an hour or less. (New laws were brought in at 9pm tonight) In saying that I can not run a business with only 5% of my clientele which is what has lead me to this decision. I will be in contact with all clients in the morning. I will return, one day and can’t wait to fix all your hair then. Keep safe and well. I can not thank all of my loyal customers enough for supporting my little business. Rhi

I can not stress enough to please try and book your appointments ahead of time to avoid missing out! ... Also obviously same rules still apply in salon. Salon is TXT only 0408728841. 12.01.2022 Hair by Rhi is now fully booked for colours until the new year Scattered hair cut appointments are available. A cancellation list will be in place. If you wish to have a colour between now and the new year I can pop you on the list and if someone cancels I can message you.... 50% charge will be in place for anyone that fails to show to there appointment without 12hours notice before hand. 11.01.2022 OPEN This has been an extremely confusing time for us in the hairdressing/beauty industry. I will be taking it day by day due to if it moves to a stage 2 lockdown I will be closing. ... I do have a few rules in place which are: if you have traveled overseas lately or are feeling unwell please don’t come and get your hair done. I can only do one client at a time and there will be NO BRINGING EXTRA PEOPLE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT policy in place. I am only a little salon and legally I am not aloud to have more than one person in at a time. wash your hands no magazines will be available to read hand sanitizer available (please use it) if I am finishing off a client please use the comfy couch outside the door to wait until I have finish/ sterilised the salon which will be done after each client I understand I am a extremely small salon and if you don’t feel comfortable coming in I totally understand. I am taking TODAY OFF as I worked yesterday (my usual day off) Stay safe and well my lovely clients and I will keep you all updated if anything changes. Rhi

10.01.2022 UPDATE Hair by Rhi is now open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. I can not stress enough that there are still MANY RULES IN PLACE which means the salon will not be running as it usually would. ... There will be no squeezing people in. There will be a wait for appointments. I will only be replying to your msgs in work hours (or else I would never switch off from work) so please bare with me. please be on time to your appointment. no extras in the salon. obviously If your unwell, cancel use hand sanitizer provided on arrival Please keep in mind every salon runs differently. This is the rules that I have had to put in to place to open my doors back up. Currently there is a wait for a reply as I have a lot of people to get back to but I promise I am trying my best. 09.01.2022 PLEASE READ It looks like as of Tuesday 24th March 2020 I am going to be forced to shut the doors until further notice due to CONVID - 19. Unfortunately this is totally out of my control. ... As a result of this I am opening tomorrow MONDAY 23rd March 2020. Of course this is opened first for all the clients that were already booked in this week. 07.01.2022 Thank you to all my clients that have called or text to book appointments since the reopening of the salon. Just a friendly reminder that I won’t be responding to calls or text outside of buisness hours. Clients are more then welcome to leave a msg or send a text, but please understand I won’t be able to respond until I’m back in the salon. ... The salon is back up and running which I am so grateful for but I can not stress enough that there is STRICT rules in place. This being said I am EXTREMELY small and can not provide a 1.5 meter rule between clients which has in forced me to ONE client at a time. When this rule changes, which unfortunately I can’t see it happening any time soon you guys will be the first to know. As of July I will have new opening hours. SUNDAY- closed MONDAY - closed TUESDAY - 9-8 (last colour appointment is 5pm) WEDNESDAY - 9-8 (last colour appointment is 5pm) THURSDAY - 9-6 (last colour appointment will be 3pm) FRIDAY - 9-6 (last colour appointment will be 3pm) SATURDAY- only open for special occasions Thank you for understanding and don’t forget to book your next appointment to avoid missing out! 05.01.2022 As many of you are aware, over my 12 years as a hairdresser, I have struggled with back pain, long hours and 6 ft in height isn't a good recipe. I've been fighting with back pain for over 2 years now, but I think it has finally got the better of me. Unfortunately this has forced me to decrease my current 10-12 hour days! This will allow my body to reset with the help of regular stretching and adjustments! Don't worry I'm not going anywhere, I'll be back full time as soon as m...y body allows, but in the meantime I will be in touch with all my clients that currently have late night appointments, to get them rescheduled. I understand these hours aren’t going to suit everyone. NEW HOURS: Tuesday - 1pm - 8pm Wednesday - 10am - 6pm Thursday - 9am - 5pm Friday’s - 9am - 5pm I am so sorry for any inconvenience, but I am very grateful for your understanding. Rhi
