Hopefully next year I can look at opening my books again to a few new clients looking to have their small-med sized dogs groomed on a 6-8weekly pre-booked regular schedule. Yes, they are in Colac but a friend of mine took her dog there as she was quoted $1000 for the needed procedure. These vets only charged $570 and had to take out 13 teeth... It definitely pays to check out other options

14.01.2022 This is a crate, collar, harness and lead... PLEASE put your dog into the crate at drop off and REMOVE their COLLAR and LEAD or COLLAR, LEAD and HARNESS and TAKE THEM HOME WITH YOU.... We have been doing this for months now and some people are still finding this a difficult task, even though there are signs on the counter and I have verbally instructed those that have failed to see the signs.... We are desperately trying to do as little contact as possible to help with stopping the spread of this virus and this is one of the ways we have to be doing it. Please help us in this very small way. 12.01.2022 Good morning everyone With 2021 just around the corner I wanted to take this opportunity to explain a couple of small changes I had to implement this year but will carry on into the future. The first is Drop Offs ... I have decided for now to continue with the pens in the front reception area as I have found 99% of dogs have taken to this style of drop off extreamly well. You will no longer need to take their collars, leads, harnesses with you, but I will still ask that you take all of it off, and there will be a container for you to leave them in. The 2nd is Pick Ups I am going to continue with either texting or calling to let you know when your pups are ready to go. There are several reasons why I will now no longer give you time to pick up... PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP BEFORE I HAVE LET YOU KNOW 1. I am getting older (unfortunately this is true) this means I can no longer groom as fast as I used to 2. ALOT of the dogs I groom are now becoming older aswell, this means THEY can no longer be groomed as fast as they used to be... 3. I work by myself 99% of the time. This means I do EVERYTHING from start to finish... 4. Equipment can malfunction... 5. ALOT of you pre-book 6mths worth of appointments on pick up... And enjoy a chat (me too ) this takes time. 6. The dog before yours may not have been as compliant as they usually are OR they may just be a difficult dog to groom in general... 7. Sometimes I get walk in enquiries, so I need to chat to them 8. Sometimes Dogs have bodily function accidents... I have to clean these up 9. Power can go out (this happened just before Christmas) 10. I maybe working when I am not 100%, headache, pulled muscles etc Most Small- Medium sized dogs are in and out in 2hrs depending on breed, clip style and behavior... Larger dogs will obviously be longer depending on breed, clip styles and behavior. *Note* this is a guide only... Please remember, I am working with moving targets (Your fur-family members) and extremely SHARP tools ie clippers and scissors) I do not wish to accidentally hurt your dog anymore than you do, so please keep this in mind.
