18.01.2022 The weather is starting to warm up and formal season is upon us so I thought I would share a few little tips on how to make your upstyle looks it's best and last all night long Whilst its up to your hairstylist to provide the goods there are a few steps pre appointment that can help ensure optimal results! First and foremost! CLEAN hair is a must. Too clean or too dirty and its difficult to work with! We want your hair to have enough natural oils to help us mold an upd...o. I ask all my clients to wash there hair 24hrs prior to their appointment. (There are some exceptions to this so always double check with your stylist) This also allows enough time for your hair to dry... Which brings me to my next tip. We require your hair to be completely DRY! When you wash your hair you are opening your cuticle & even though your hair may feel dry after blow-drying it can take up to 24hrs for your cuticle to close and dry completely. That's why when we get a blow-dry we always think it sits better the next day Too much moisture can make creating a lasting updo difficult and the texture and volume of your hair changes as it dries. Last but not least where you PART your hair. If you know where you want your hair parted for your updo, after you wash part it exactly where you want and dry. If you don't I suggest to my clients to blowdry it all back away from your face and we can decide on the day of your appointment. Once its been dried into a part it is a bit more difficult to mold it out. Now all you have to do is show up to your appointment sit back and lets us do our magic This is a textured low pony I created over the weekend Look forward to creating beautiful upstyles for my clients soon
