08.01.2022 Good morning everyone, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone supporting our industry at this time I came to work yesterday and there were quite a few messages to go through, I thought the worst... but it was ok the majority were for new bookings and many phone calls through the day were holiday makers rescheduling their times to suit them not their flight itineraries. A bit of faith was restored. ... I’ve posted a video highlighting some of the things we do to keep the germs away from our space. The main difference to our customers will be no magazines. Please bring a book your phone your knitting or if your working from home your laptop and kill two birds with one stone . If your unwell or have travelled into the state in the 14 days leading to your appointment , please call and reschedule. Stay healthy and remember to wash your hands! 04.01.2022 To our valued clients, Although the federal Government are allowing our industry to still work, I have made the decision to temporarily close our door to services out of my duty of care to protect my staff our families and the community as of tomorrow. If you require any retail items we will take phone orders and provide free delivery in the launceston area during this time. Please send us a message or call. We have been let down (as an industry) I believe by our governm...ent and it angers me to think, they think it’s ok to tell everyone to stay home and shut all the other personal service industries yet allow us to work it makes no sense. It also makes it difficult for those who ethically and morally choose to close on their own accord. Please respect our choice to observe social distancing. All our future appointments will stay booked as they are for the rest of the year and we plan to pick up as soon as it is safe to do so. So please rest assured you won’t loose your appointment schedule. We will let everyone know when this will happen and reminders will be sent out as normal also. Whether that is weeks or months no one knows at this stage. I’ve posted a video with this message of hope for our future especially here in Tasmania.
