23.01.2022 THE "SCRAPE" TEST!!!! This video is to show our lovely ladies what a build up of silicon (found in certain brands) is like in your hair. There is a reason ...supermarket shampoos and conditioners only costs $5 for a litre, the cheap industrial strength silicones leave an almost plastic like coating on your hair. When we try to colour (eg a semi permanent or permanent colour) it is almost impossible to break through the barrier and can leave you colour just sitting on the surface of the hair cuticle rather than penetrating deep into the cortex (meaning it will probably fade after 1 or 2 washes) When we try to lighten your hair, the same applies but we also run the risk or a chemical reaction which can cause breakage and snapping of the hair. It is fine to be using this on children or people that never plan on colouring there hair, but we want you to get value for money from your salon service.
