Thank you for your patience, following the Chief Health Officer advice on waiting for test results to come in, they have all come back NEGATIVE. Here’s the changes from Wednesday 28 October:... SOCIAL OVERVIEW Masks remain compulsory. The reasons to leave home have been removed. Instead it will be a stay safe guiding rule. The 25 km radius remains. (Until 8 November) Meet up to 10 people outdoors from any number of households. COMMUNITY SPORT & REC Contact sports allowed for under 18 years. Outdoor non-contact sport returns for adults. Indoor sports are still restricted for now. PUBLIC GATHERINGS Weddings: 10 persons Funerals: 20 persons Religious gatherings: 20 persons outdoors. HOSPITAL & CARE FACILITIES One visitor per day for 2 hours. Persons under 18yrs can have 2 parents. ALL allied health professional currently operating now have face to face care. WORK AND INDUSTRY UPDATE There is still the guiding principle that if you can work from home, keep working from home. There is no longer a need for work permits. (Except for going into regional Vic) Businesses can get ready and start preparing for the opening and to get COVID-Safe. HOSPITALITY Cafes, restaurants and pubs will open!
