Not only does Hair Artistry care for the vast range of ages we see visit our Salon, we also care for the many clients that live with compromised immune systems, including those within my very own household. We are dedicated to following the recommendations of the Australian Government and The World Health Organisation. Please note that if:... -You have been in contact with anyone who is suspected unwell -You have been asked to self quarantine from work -You have been advised to quarantine by a medical professional -you have recently arrived into Australia from overseas (legal 14 day self quarantine effective 16/3) OR You have any of the following symptoms: -fever -cough -sore throat -fatigue -difficulty breathing WE REQUIRE THAT YOU INFORM US, AS WE WILL NEED TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR AFTER 14 DAYS. 19.01.2022 Our COVID-19 Policy Our team are committed to government regulations regarding Social Distancing within the workplace and have adjusted our team roster and working environment to reflect these rules. We adhere to strict hygiene practices which include the cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces including (but not limited to) client chairs, shampoo basins, benches and all equipment used for the service of each client, and all towels and capes are single use only. ... We provide both hand sanitizer and a dedicated hand wash station, tissues to cough or sneeze into and a dedicated bin to dispose of them. Tea, Coffee or Water are served in a disposable cup. We are momentarily not blow drying hair to avoid spreading droplets from an infected person’s cough or sneeze. This is an incredibly tough time for everyone, and to make it easier and safer we need to work together. We kindly ask that anyone who is experiencing virus-like symptoms, stay safe and stay at home. We will happily help you to reschedule your appointment for a later date. To make sure you, the clients that are sharing your space and your Hairdresser feel safe we have a non contact thermometer used upon entering, and we check in with you that you are feeling well. Any staff member that experiences any virus like symptoms will not attend work, and all appointments will be rescheduled. Thank you for understanding that we are working in an ever changing environment. We appreciate all of our clients working with us by being flexible and adapting with us as we navigate this. 01.01.2022 Hi Everyone! We sincerely hope this message finds you all well! Life is a little crazy right now, and nothing is as it used to be! We all are adjusting to a new way of living our lives because we all care about each other. Nothing is as important as our communities health, and that is why Belinda and Troy are having a small break and returning the first week in May. I (Katrina) have made a further decision to extend my break to June for family reasons. Until I return to wor...k, Troy and Belinda are looking forward to caring for all of my lovely clients for me! When the salon reopens, like you, we have to adjust to our new working environment. To be able to continue to care for your hair safely we have government rules to adhere to, hygiene practices to work by, and just plain common sense to follow! This is not going to be easy, but it is important - because your safety and health is important to us. We will for a time only be working with one client at a time. This will enable us to maintain our safe working environment. It will also require patience and understanding as we begin the big task of finding that very important appointment for each and everyone of you within this new way of working.
