23.01.2022 Hello from salon ISO Out of respect to all of you beautiful clients currently booked in from the week of the 26th October onwards I am tentatively going to bring all appointments back one week starting from Monday 19/10. I am not going to change the time or day of the week, just the date. I feel it is the only fair way to do it as I have rescheduled everyone twice already. I will be working on Friday 23/10 which is the Grand Final public holiday. This is based very optim...istically in the hope that I will be allowed to open from Monday 19/10 . If we aren’t then my existing diary appointments will stand. I understand that this may not suit everyone. I will be texting everyone their new date, if it doesn’t work for you let me know asap, & I will make a list of cancelations. Once everyone has confirmed their new date I will know where appointments have become available & be able to offer these spots to those whose new date didn’t suit! I realise this is very messy & not ideal ( you should see my diary! I’ve been working on a salon ISO project using old colour chart swatches of hair, old scissors, razors, combs, tint brushes & clips. 22.01.2022 To my lovely clients. You may have seen the tonight’s announcement by the Prime Minister and wondered what it meant for your appointments. Looking at the detail it seems I can still have one client come into my home salon at a time. To ensure we are complying with the restrictions I ask that you wait in your car until you get a friendly wave from me to ensure my previous client has left. As mentioned previously, please reschedule if you are feeling unwell, that includes runny noses, coughs and colds. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

15.01.2022 To all of my beautiful salon clients. I want to reassure you that I have always stringently followed the health regulation guidelines. In response to the current situation with COVID-19, in addition to these thorough hygiene measures I am now also endeavouring to only have one client in the salon at a time (though this is not always possible). In return I would be extremely appreciative if you could reschedule your appointments if you feel that you may have any contagious illness, including colds and coughs. Looking forward to seeing you all soon in the salon, having our fun conversations & making you feel pampered & looking great
15.01.2022 This is how I feel I love to make you all feel beautiful , great Hope you are all feeling positive & optimistic! Look forward to pampering you all & seeing you in the near future Please know that I am taking the sterilisation of my salon to the max. I also have the plasma setting on my air conditioner which filters out germs & purify’s the air running from morning to night. I only have one client at a time in the salon including time to sterilise after every client prior to the next client arriving. You can feel that I am taking every effort to ensure you will be safe here in my salon. I am also not going anywhere, we are even having our shopping delivered! Xx xx

14.01.2022 What a week! Thank you everyone who came ( it’s been hectic!), phoned or sent a text for an appointment! You have been so happy, cooperative & patient with me trying to find you an appointment & endeavouring to run to time. THEN not to forget loving cuddles & tummy rugs for Button who has really missed you all! Next week is equally as busy & I look forward to seeing you all & enjoy every conversation & shared experiences. Just to remind you, if a car is parked outside ple...ase wait until I see the client off & run in & complete my salon cleanse, I will come out & wave you in . In the current times you must wear a mask, if you are wearing a pretty fabric mask I can swap it over for a disposable one so I don’t spoil your mask. 13.01.2022 What an awesome year I have had in my beautiful salon! My amazing clients showed their loyalty when I took off on a 6 week (42 years in the making) European holiday & I came back to an equally busy salon as I left. I am eternally grateful that I lost very few clients, I expected to loose some, in reality most clients returned how lucky I am I don’t take anyone or anything for granted I can’t express how much I value each & every client who visit me & I promise I will never take you for granted & will always endeavour to do better to try to make your salon experience fun, relaxing & feel great Looking forward to looking after your locks in 2020

10.01.2022 To all my loved clients, friends of Hair by Jackie Tuffin It is breaking my heart ( crying while I’m writing this) that I must close the salon for the foreseeable future from Wednesday Midnight 5th August,? at this time until Sunday 13th September ( unless otherwise directed). I will post on this site any changes or updates. I will miss you all so much & I hate to let you down, I will be back & working as soon as I can. Just for fun & measure of time last year I was having fun in Europe & the UK for 6 weeks & you survived We can do this Stay safe & keep in touch. I really value each & every one of you, as soon as I can I will be back looking after you & your hair
09.01.2022 Hello beautiful people in Melbourne ISO land. I have rescheduled & contacted everyone I had booked in my diary during the next 6 weeks over to appointments from 26th October onwards. If I have missed anyone, or you hadn’t made an appointment but would like one please contact me & I will book you in. 09.01.2022 To all my friends of Hair by Jackie Tuffin sadly it will be a further 7 weeks until I will be allowed to invite you back into my salon I miss you all terribly as does Button Please be safe & keep well both physically & mentally For my mental health please do not in desperation use a supermarket or chemist colour on your hair, contact me & I’ll arrange for you to have some of your formula ( colour & peroxide ) in a container, I can lend you a tint brush if you don’t have one & you can pop it on, I’ll give you some instructions. 08.01.2022 To all of my amazing clients I just want to touch base with you, send you my love & hopes that you are all still smiling, fit & healthy & keeping your chins up during this crisis . I understand & respect that many of you are choosing to totally self isolate & not unnecessarily go anywhere, whenever this is all over I will still be here ready to fix up & restore your hair back to how you love to see yourself . In the meantime the government is still allowing hairdres...sers to open their salons, because of the unique/niche position that I am in I feel confident to continue to work & offer a safe salon environment. I’m only taking one client at any one time & the salon is fully sterilised before another client is invited in, I run the Plasma setting on my air conditioner all day which filters the air. 08.01.2022 To my lovely clients, you may be wondering what today’s announcement means for your upcoming appointments. Thankfully hairdressers can continue to operate, so my little salon is open for business, with a number of precautions in place to keep us all safe! I’ll be taking only one client at a time, and asking to take your temperature and sanitise your hands as you arrive. My air purifier will be running in the salon and I’ll be cleaning thoroughly after each appointment. Please reschedule if you feel at all unwell. If we all do the right thing we can enjoy lockdown with great hair :) Hope to see you soon
06.01.2022 Ok we can do this! To my lovely clients, you’ll see on the news this morning that hairdressing salons are now restricted to services that take less than 30 minutes. The good news is that I can still operate and offer many of my normal services, such as cuts and blow waves. Colour services will be more difficult but I could still mix and apply colour and send you home to wash off. I may also be able to split a normal appointment over more than one day and colour in one appointment and then cut in the next. I will contact you if I need to discuss changes to your appointment, but please rest assured I will do all that I can to keep your hair looking lovely during this time.
01.01.2022 To my valued clients With winter approaching and cases of COVID-19 still present in Victoria, I wanted to let you know that I will be doing everything I can to minimise the spread of germs and protect your health and well-being while you are visiting my salon. As part of this, I’ve purchased a Non-contact thermometer that I will use each morning to make sure that I am not working while unwell.... With your consent I’d also like to take your temperature prior to you coming into the salon, to make sure you’re not unknowingly visiting with a temperature. If you record a temperature above 38 degree, we can then reschedule your appointment. I will continue with this procedure until the current crisis is over. I hope this will give you confidence that my salon is a safe and clean environment. Can’t wait to see each of you for some pampering soon! Jackie
