After meeting so many beautiful new clients over the last six weeks I remember talking with a client about what products she uses and I remember the supermarket brand ‘Monday’ being mentioned. For the life of me I can’t remember exactly whom it was, but if it was you and you are reading this please stop using there products! I’ve contacted a few of you privately to check... it wasn’t you but haven’t been successful in finding the right client. MK

06.01.2022 To my clientele, As most of you know now and for those of you who don’t; Charlie & I are expecting a little baby boy this December. We are so excited. As this is my first pregnancy and is all very new to me I’m not 100% sure as to when I will be taking maternity leave & how long it will go for. ... At this stage, I’m hoping to continue working casually (2-3 days a week) for the next two months. I’m going to aim to work up until the end of November, which will give me December to relax and enjoy some time off before our world changes forever. Please understand though; if my body is not coping this could all change, as the health of my baby and myself needs to come first. Most of you have been asking: When am I going to be coming back? The truthful answer being, I really don’t know. In my head I’m thinking around 8-10 weeks after Bub is born for a few days a fortnight. But I’m not going to lock anything in until he’s Earth side and see how we’re both going with it all. So when I decide, you’ll all be the first to know. What are you going to do while I’m gone? I’m so fortunate to work alongside some lovely ladies at The March Street Salon. All of them being great people and also great hairdressers. With me starting maternity leave end of November that obviously leaves you all in the lurch about Christmas hair appointments- my only recommendation with this would be to start thinking of an alternative solution and book your appointments now to avoid disappointment as spots are limited this time of year. The beautiful Emerson Drady from Pose Hair Design will be taking on more hours as I start pulling back. Do take into consideration she has her own clientele already, so as I stated above. Start thinking about booking those Christmas appointments now. If you are wanting an appointment with me before I go I suggest to book in sooner rather than later, as spots are starting to fill up (especially for late November). Thankyou to everyone for all your kind words and well wishes with this new chapter of our lives. We can’t bloody wait to meet our little man Mel x
