23.01.2022 My valued clients - In preparation for a COVID-19 pandemic as announced by the World Health Organisation, I want to ensure you that I am complying with recommendations from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. I am following updates and currently, Hair By Sheridan is open for business as usual. As you are aware, I choose to work with only one client at a time, giving me time to sanitise the salon between appointments. ... Please reschedule your appointment if you are unwell. You will be asked to reschedule your appointment if you arrive with cold/flu like symptoms. If you are returning from travels, please adhere to the 14 day quarantine period. It is important to take these precautions to protect each other and our families. Thank you for understanding!



23.01.2022 For all things my hands have held, the best by far is you. Introducing Patrick Lloyd Walker - born on the 2nd of October @ 3.40pm weighing 3340grams. Patrick has undergone some corrective surgeries at The Royal Children’s Hospital and is recovering well. So eternally grateful for the incredible people who are looking after the three of us so well.

19.01.2022 Leigh & I are so proud of how far Patrick has come since his time in at The Royal Childrens Hospital. He is 2 months old, full of cheeky smiles, feeding and sleeping so well. A big thank you to my thoughtful clients for checking in on us and the beautiful gifts we have been spoilt with.

17.01.2022 It’s so good being back in my own salon today! I’m booked out with every dollar getting donated to The Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this cause that is extremely close to my heart.

17.01.2022 I’m re opening - yay! I will be working through the list of clients that had appointments cancelled when the restrictions started. Once everyone on this list has been rebooked I will open my books to other existing clients. ... I’ll be operating strictly by appointment only. Including if you are coming to collect haircare products. This way I can ensure one client at a time. On this note, please do not bring a plus one to your appointment. I can strictly operate one on one only. Some services are not currently available. I’ll be sure to let those affected know. Magazines are temporarily unavailable. Please bring a book if you’d like too. Hand sanitizer is available for you to use upon entry and during your appointment. I urge you to stay home if you are unwell, if you have been instructed to isolate or have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid 19. A huge thank you for understanding and supporting these decisions made the last few months. I can’t wait to see you all.

17.01.2022 I have so many thoughts but at the same time, no words to say. There are challenging and heartbreaking times ahead for us as a community. Due to tonight’s announcements and restrictions in place - I will be closing the doors to my little salon tomorrow. I’m unsure how long this will be required. I am devastated. I am due to celebrate 3 years in business next week. Our health is the absolute priority and I do believe this will help #flattenthecurve. For those with appointmen...ts in the near future, I will be in touch with you as soon as possible. 09.01.2022 Someone may have talked me into picking up my scissors for a sneaky haircut at my blow wave night, so let’s roll with it. I have two appointments left - message me to book in!

09.01.2022 Australia is hurting right now. At least 20 people dead, including 3 volunteer fire fighters. More than 1300 homes destroyed. Half a BILLION animals have perished.... Entire species will be wiped out. We have lost a third of our koalas. 5+ million hectares have been burnt. Here in Victoria, it’s declared a State of Disaster. For the month of January, Hair By Sheridan is donating all profit made from any retail purchases. This includes shampoo, conditioner, styling products and hair accessories. My donations will be directed towards the CFA (Country Fire Authority) Thank you to those risking their lives, for those that have contributed time, money & resources to those affected. Sheridan

03.01.2022 Wow, okay. This certainly isn’t how I imagined things to be. With Victoria heading backwards, local Covid-19 cases on the rise and social distancing being impossible in the salon - I have made the decision to close the salon again. ... I will be here for touch up kits and all of your hair care products will still be available. There will be contactless payments, pickup and delivery options. I am putting the health of the community, myself & my baby first, as this is absolutely the most important priority. I will be in contact with everyone ASAP. Please be patient - I’ll be returning all calls and texts as soon as I can. It’s a constantly changing landscape, with advice changing almost daily too. I want to thank all of my clients for the support throughout this pandemic and my pregnancy. I am so incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful people. Big love, Sheridan

02.01.2022 I want to thank my clients for being so understanding and supportive during the Coronavirus Pandemic. It wasn’t an easy decision to temporarily close my business, but keeping the health and safety of the community at the highest priority was the right thing to do. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be back in the salon next month, assuming that some restrictions will be lifted. 02.01.2022 I have finished up in the salon this evening. It’s been a confusing, heartbreaking and overwhelming few weeks. My plan is to get my online store happening soon to purchase gift vouchers or stock up on products. Please contact me if you wish to do this, I can do this over the phone as well. I’m currently still able to offer contactless delivery or pick up options on products. I am honestly so blown away at the support shown in this challenging time. I have had clients bring i...n fresh produce from their gardens, pre pay appointments and stock up on products. The beautiful messages & calls have had me in tears. My salon is my baby, my clients are family. Kindness will get us through this. Be kind to one another, to yourself & the community. Stay safe, stay well & I will see you on the other side of this.

01.01.2022 I’ve had a fantastic week back in the salon - post pandemic shutdown. Seeing my clients has filled up my cup again (obviously wine isn’t doing that at the moment! ). I appreciate the support shown during my closure and I really appreciate the patience now, as I rebook 6+ weeks of appointments. For anyone that hasn’t heard from me yet, you have not been forgotten.
